"Manik , you woke up ... Come let's have breakfast", Saying mouni called him.... But manik just for once looked at nandu's room door which is closed ....
"No bhabi , I just need to freshen up . I will go home and eat there" .... Saying he just left from there ....
Nandu in her room, she leaned on the door she just closed with a bang .... Thinking of the conversation she had with manik .....
As soon as the door bell rang. ... Rishab opened the door ...
At the same time manik and nandu woke up .... Nandu has a smile looking at manik but he is just looking at her ...
"It's late , chalo let's freshen up , go home freshen up and come let's have some breakfast", saying she got up from the bed and moved to the washroom , she just brushed and washed her face , came out of the washroom wiping her face with a towel ... Manik is still sitting at the edge of bed .... Lost somewhere in his thoughts .....
"Kya hua mama ", she asked him cupping his face ....
"Actually nandu , can we postpone the wedding ?" He asked looking at her face ...
"What ??" She spoke taking her hands back from his face ....
"We are attacked last night nandu , I feel it's not safe to get married now. I just", He stopped because she has tears on her face ....
"So , after engagement , you wanted us to cancel the wedding which is just in twenty days , just bcoz we are attacked last night . So tell me when will these attacks stop, okay let's assume u solved the case , we got married . Will there not be any other problems in future ?I know your profession and the risks involved but still i chose you bcoz I love you , I just didn't say it like that , I mean it , problems are a part of our life but that doesn't mean we don't live our life , last night I was not a scared cat , I fought along side with you , that means I know how to protect myself than why second thoughts regarding our marriage " , she asked looking at him ....
"Listen nandu , actually the reason I never proposed to you even when I loved you for a long time , I was scared what if something happens to you because of the cases I deal with , please understand. I will talk to our families , let's just postpone it , please ", he tried to hold her face but she just pushed him back .... Not letting him hold her ....
" Then why did you come and ask my hand , why? Just to leave me after engagement... ", she asked with tears rolling down her eyes ....
"No , I'm not leaving you, just postponing the wedding ",he said moving to her ...
" So , bcoz of attacks or any other reason now you are postponing the wedding , in future if something happens like this after the wedding , what divorce ? Are you just planning to postpone or completely stop it ? Say it clearly ", she asked him but he didn't answer anything .....
