Nandu signalled him to move out of the bed .... He followed her silently bcoz satya and kids are fast asleep....
They both sat on the stairs ..... Cool Breeze is felt on faces ....
Manik : What are you thinking ?? He asked looking at her lost in thoughts ......
Nandu : I always remember my appa whenever I visit this place .... My mom and dad are relatives manik .... My dad came with his family and asked my mother's hand for marriage ... My grand father is against it , so he denied . But my mother is in love with my father , so she convinced the whole family. My father has 5 sisters , he got all of them married , he gave away shares of property , land and all his savings in the form of gifts for their marriage, he called it gifts but it's dowry .... My mother never said a word to him regarding what he gives his family , they both are a happy couple . But when my father is on death bed bcoz of sudden heart stroke , we are left with nothing but this house in which the marriage is taking place . When my mother asked for help , my aunt asked for this house in return , my mother gave away immediately bcoz My dad is important to her not materialistic things .... We are small kids living in my maternal grandparents house for summer holidays ..... Once dad left us , my mom couldn't live here because his sister's took away all the properties and blamed my mother for his death.. So she left this place and came to Mumbai with three of us( nandu's sibling ) .... She started working in a library as a clerk and took care of us , even when my maternal grandparents asked her to stay with them , she didn't go back bcoz she married against the wish of my grandfather.... But we used to come here on every summer holidays to enjoy .... She said looking at the moon.....he just took her in a side hug .... She leaned on him with tears in her eyes....
Manik : who is that girl in the morning who spoke rudely to you ?? ... He asked the question which is in his mind .....
Nandu : My father has five sisters , all of them have son's and no daughter's. My mother's family is very big ..... That girl Mathi is My mother's elder sister's second daughter .... The one who came to receive us is Kishore , my aunt's ( father's elder sister ) elder son ..... Once my aunt and uncle came to our house in Mumbai and asked for my hand for her son because he loves me ... His father loves my mom like his own sister , even though my aunt doesn't like us, she came for her husband and son ... My mom didn't accept the proposal, my aunt felt that my mom rejected her son bcoz they took our house and properties.... My mom said no bcoz she knew my aunt would make my life hell if I got married to her son , Kishore is a very good friend of mine , we grew up together ...he is like a body gaurd to me and my sister as my brother is young , he used to protect us from the arrogant kids of our family .... He loved me so much and waited for many years , he even came after mom's death asking me to marry him but I never had any feelings towards him , he is my best friend .... Later my aunt got him married to mathi - my bade maa daughter .... She feels Kishore still loves me bcoz we talk on calls , Kishore just wanted to make sure I'm fine bcoz I live alone . We are good friends but these people will never understand that , so I stopped talking to him but whenever I come for summer holidays, he comes to my grandparents' house to meet me .... She said with a small smile.....
