Road Trip

She was bopping her head along to the music. Her earphones were in, and up high.

"Hey, Care...Care...CAROLINE!" Her dad said trying to get her attention.

Her older sister Shelley nudged her in the ribs. "Huh? What?" She looked around startled taking her earphones out.

"I was just saying that Robin is very excited to see you all again and wants to see your skills on the organ." Said her dad slightly annoyed.

"It's piano." she muttered under her breath.

"What was that?" Her dad said supisiously.

"She said you should buy all five of us slushies from Maccers ." Said Colin with a grin.

"Yeah! Along with lunch. " Said the other twin Connor, giving a fist pump to Colin.

Their dad gave them an eye roll and said "Robin's prepared a spectacular meal for us when we arrive."

"But can't we just get a little snack?"
Said Ben her other brother.

"Didn't your mother give you all food to take?" Said their dad sounding annoyed again.

"Yes! I've got it all in my backpack" shouted Shelly next to her while grabbing five packets of chips and handing it to each of them.

"Dad can I just ask if that pesky little dog will be there?" Said Connor innocently while taking a bite into his chip.

He looked at him through the review mirror with a glare. "Roxy, will be there, minding her own business so you two stay away from her!" Said dad.

"Phew, Rocky." Scoffed Colin. "What a common dog name."

"Um hello there is a cat right next to me!" Said Caroline. She had brought her cat with her because their was no in to watch it back home.

"Well your just gonna have to keep him in your room." Her dad said with not much thought.

"But he needs to run around. So he doesn't get fat and cooped up in there." She whined.

"Listen. Roxy's an old dog and she won't do much chasing. So Will, will be fine."

"Yeah the old bitch will be making love with you." She muttered.

The twins sniggered. "Dad how long till were there?" Ben asked.

"Another hour. So will you all just be quiet so I can concentrate." He said sternly.

In the front dad went back to driving. Next to him was Ben reading a book. At the back at the minivan Colin and Conner were talking in quiet whispers about an app that made farting noises. In the middle of the car was Will the cat sitting in his cadge next to Shelly who was typing away madly at her phone (to her boyfriend). And then there was Caroline she had just put in her earphones again put the music on high and drifted off.

Half and hour later*

"I NEED TO PEE!" Screamed Colin.

Caroline jumped awake. Looking around blankly, she saw Colin holding his private. "What can't you just hold it?" She looked at him crossly.

"No it's coming I can feel it!" He said through a grimace.

Connor was laughing crazily. Ben had looked up from his book annoyed. Shelley was giggling. "Didn't you go before you left?" Said dad slightly pissed off.

"Yessss, but that was like ten years ago!" Whined Colin.

"We better make a stop Dad." Connor added.
