Chapter 5: The Hurt..

Destiny's P.O.V

I'm so excited for my date with Max tonight. I never thought I would ever hear those words come out of my mouth, but they didn't sound too bad. As me and Max were walking back to the bus, he stopped and started talking to someone on the phone. I just ignored it and kept going. I got to the bus and immediately walked to the shower and strip. I stepped in the hot, steamy shower and started replaying through everything that had just happened. The shower was sadly short, but fulfilling. As I got out, I heard voices that sounded like a excited Max.. Followed up by a worried Ronnie. "I can't believe she called me," I heard Max say. Oh no.. he has another girl .. I knew it.. I knew that he would never be with someone like me.. "Man, you know she's trouble.. You know what she did to you and me. I don't want you in that mess again." Ronnie said to Max. I pulled up my shorts and a sports bra on quickly, and walked out of the bathroom into the lounge area to look for my shirt. Everyone was just sitting there doing their own thing and that's when I saw my beloved shirt. In the hands of Mr.Vincent himself.

As soon as Max and Ronnie saw me, their mouths immediately closed. I know something is going on and I'm going to find out whether they like it or not. I swiftly turned my head to a smirking Jacky. Confidently walking over to him, I down sat on his lap, making everyone stare. I put my mouth close to his ear and whispered something that seemed to do the trick. Soon, my shirt was relased from his grip and was now on my body. Max groaned when he noticed that I was not now half naked.

Later that night, I was laying down on the couch with my head on Jacky's lap casually when I heard yelling coming from the back room. Jacky and I exchanged a confused look and I stood up to see what was going on. The yelling continued as I walked up to the door, quickly putting my ear against it. "You have got to be fucking kidding me, you're going to her house tomorrow night?! You know all she wants to do is have sex with you and use you!!" Ronnie yelled angrily, "Sshhhhh!! Destiny is going to hear you!" "I hope she does! She deserves to know.." Ronnie replied to Max with a furious tone. And even with that little information, I know who they're talking about. Lexus. She must've called Max last night. I've never met her, but Ronnie has told me quiet a few things. My eyes were starting to water as the voices died down. I never knew that I could be so upset over something so.. little. Soon the door was being yanked opened by an angry Max. When he saw me, he glared at me. Why was he mad at me? He was the one that had messed up, not me! I quickly peeked into Ronnie's room, only to see him sitting on his bed with his head in his hands. "So you heard?" He asked me with an apologetic look, and I gave a half smile. It the most I could give at that moment. Soon, I threw my self onto him, giving him the biggest hug I've ever given anyone and just cried into his chest and shoulder. I guess there will be no dinner tonight..
