Phyllis clung to my arm the whole time we sat in the car chatting with me. I don't know if she though I was going to jump out of the car or what, but she held my arm tight. Mike and Davy were sat in the front chatting themselves. I wasn't sure what they were talking about since it was such hushed voices. I honestly had ended up zoning out at what Phyllis was saying. I was in my own other world. This world was a world where Mike loved me, and we were together forever.

I know, I know I was stupid for thinking that it would ever happen. Here I am, pretty much on a double date with Davy Jones and Mike Nesmith and his wife and all I can think about was being with the a married man. I bow my head in shame and attempt to ignore the thoughts that flood my mind. Phyllis obviously takes notice because she gently nudges me. I pull myself out of the thoughts and look at her. Her face was spread with a bit of worry. "You alright hon?" She whispered as if I was going to tell her a secret.

"I'm fine, simply thinkin' " I told her honestly and smiled. She faintly nodded and went back to loudly boasting about something. It seemed like shoes, since she was describing something that was coral blue. I looked to the front to see a wide smile on Mike's face. 'Maybe she was talking about their wedding? Due to the way Mike's smiling.' I pondered and looked between the two. Looking at them, they were a hell'va cute couple. If they broke it off I could tell Mike would be heartbroken and the boys would have to comfort him. Phyllis would be the same. And sense she declared that I was her best friend, I was going to have to console her. I've never been anyone's shoulder to cry on, nor do it want to. I never liked it when people cried. It brought my mood down and I was to be left in a depressed state all day long.

I broke out of my thoughts once more as Davy poked my arm. "Babe?" He asked looking at me. I blinked a couple times and looked around the car. Everyone had gotten out and were staring at me perplexed. I cleared my throat and felt my cheeks warm.

"Um, sorry.. I was thinking." I laughed and climbed out the door Davy had opened for me. I nodded a thank you to him and looked at the house. It was amazing! It was tan and about two stories tall. It looked that it was in the shape of a 'U', and had a large back yard. In the side yard was large for dogs or something to play in, and it had a large driveway where we were parked. "This is nice, Mike and Phyllis." I smiled politely.

"Thank you, Natalie." Mike smiled at me and draped his arm around Phyllis's waist walking towards the front door. Davy looked at me smiling. He held his arm out to me.

"Shall we?" He winked and gave me a goofy grin. I smiled and laughed nodding taking his arm. He lead me towards the door behind Mike and his wife. "If Phyllis and Mike get handsie during the movie, let me know I'll start smacking them with a pillow telling them no." He whispered into my ear sending soft shivers down my spine. I nodded silently and felt my cheeks heat up again.

As we got settled into the couch and the movie started, Mike shut the curtains to stop the sun glare. He sat down with a grunt next to Phyllis and wrapped his arm around her. She cuddled into him gladly. I watched and smiled. I curled my legs up under me and leaned back into the cushions as the previews started. Davy sat a good distance from me, his arms draped over the backs of the couch watching the movie. I sighed quietly and leaned my head back watching. After what seemed like 20 minutes, I looked over hearing a lip smacking noise. Mike and Phyllis were kissing. I grabbed a pillow and chucked it at them. "Hey! You have guest!" I laughed and started to smack them with another pillow. "Don't. Kiss/Make. Out. When. You. Have. Guest!" I started to hit Mike with the pillow hearing his laughter.

"Good guest don't hit people with pillows!" He laughed hard and suddenly grabbed my waist flipping me over his lap and onto the couch. He snatched the pillow out of my hands and tossed it to Davy. As my only defense source was gone, he took the opportunity. He brought his hands down and started to tickle me. I was the most ticklish person.

"M-Mike no! Mike stop!" I laughed loudly and tried to squirm away from his hands. "Mike that really tickles! Stop!" I laughed hard to the point I was so close to crying. I squirmed enough to land straight on the hard wood floor that he had in the living room. "1. OW! 2. RUDE!" I yelled and laughed looking at him. He immediately held up his hands and smiled shaking his head.

"Hey you were asking for it." He smirked and winked at me. I rolled my eyes and laughed. I peeked into the kitchen to check the time.

"Ah damn, I have to get home. I have school in the morning and my mom is going to be super mad if I come home late." I told them. Mike stood up and looked at me with a soft smile.

"I'll bring you home." He said and then looked at Davy. "You're okay with staying here right?" He asked.

"Of course I am. I'll protect Phyllis in case anything happens." He said puffing out his chest and stood up with a childish grin. "I am one of the Monkee Men anyways." He smirked heroically. I laughed and shook my head.

"You're nothing, but a child." I told him with a snicker. Mike nodded in agreement and sat his hand on my lower back bringing me to his car. He opened the front door for me and smiled. "Thank you Michael." I said in an idiotic British voice.

"You're quite welcome Natalie." He said in an even stupider British voice. I rolled my eyes and laughed leaning into the seat.

"You're such a dork." I laughed and propped my feet up on the dashboard. I looked at the road as he drove. He turned on the radio. The song 'The Kind of Girl I Could Love' started to play loudly. Mike and I looked at each other and started to sing loudly and horribly at the top of our lungs. I tossed my head back and sang. As soon as we got into the car, we were in my driveway in front of my house. I sighed and smiled widely. I leaned over kissing Mike's cheek. "Thank you for bringing me home Mikey. I'll see you around. You have my number right?" I smiled and looked at his face that was reddening.

"Yeah I do, I will give you a call." He smiled and grinned. I nodded and got out. I walked up to the door. I opened it and leaned against the door once I close it. I smiled widely and grinned happily. I made my way up to my room and jumped into the bed screaming into my pillow excited. This was the first time that I could honestly admit that I was in love. Not with Davy, but with a married man.. Robert. Michael. Nesmith.
