Devon's POV.
I was waiting for Minho outside the maze. I wanted to ask him if I could be a runner. It would most likely be a no, but I had to give it a shot. He finally after what seemed like forever came through the doors with my boyfriend Thomas. "Hey Minho can I talk to you?" I asked Minho. Thomas looked at me and ran off. He seemed different. "Uh. Sure I guess. What about?" He asked me. We were walking together. And I tripped and Minho caught me before I crashed into the ground. "You ok?" He asked me helping me stand. "Yeah. Anyway I want to be a runner." I told him. "Whoa, what? I literally just witnessed how clumsy you were!" He said laughing. "No way!" He added walking off towards the map room. I didn't go after him. If was worth a shot. I walked to eat dinner and I got in line behind newt. "Hey." I said to him. "Is Thomas still mapping?" I added. "Oh. Hey. I don't think so I saw him run towards the dead heads, looked pretty mad." He told me. I got out of line and ran towards the dead heads. I came across Thomas sitting by the river. "Thomas?" I asked him. "What!" He yelled. I took slower steps towards him. "Babe? What's wrong?" I asked getting closer to my angry boy friend. "Nothing Devon. Go away." He said pointing towards the glade. "No tell me what's wrong." I demanded. He stood up quickly. "Your not allowed to hang out with minho. Got it!" He yelled "oh. I see. Someone is jealous." I said in a mocking voice. "Your mine." Is all he said before slaming me into a tree and kissing me. We pulled for air. "What are you doing?" I asked him. "Proving that your mine." He answered kissing me more. He went to take his shirt off when we heard a tree branch snap. We stopped and looked around. And we finally saw Chuck hiding behind a tree. "Chuck, your too young to see us kissing." Thomas said to his friend. Chuck and Thomas were like brothers. They loved each other. "Oh ok." He said turning around and walking away. "Where were we?" Thomas asked me. "Um, Thomas?" I said. "Yeah?" " the moment is ruined." I said giving him a grin. "Yeah...." He said before walking me back to dinner.
