Alex's POV
I was upset. Like beyond upset. Me and my boyfriend Thomas just has a bad breakup. "Look I never want to be with you again! Have fun in the single life because no one would ever date you." Those harsh words ran through my head over and over again. My boyfr- well Ex boyfriend said those words to me. I never knew he would do this to me. I was sitting in be deadheads alone. Because apparently no one wanted to be with me. Whatever who needs boys anyway. My thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of tree branches snapping. Sounds like someone is running. Probably just the runners coming back and heading to the map room. Thomas broke up with me this morning before entering the maze. So that means it was probably him coming back. Great. I was sitting behind a tree so if it was him he wouldn't see me. I kept watching to see who is was and it was just Minho. Oh okay. Minho. He was my friend, I guess. Maybe he was just faking like Thomas. It looked as if he was just gonna pass on and not notice me but nooo I had to accidentally move a bit and rustle some leaves. Minho stoped and looked around. He saw me. Great. "Alex?" He asked. "Um. Hi." I said still poking my head out behind the tree. "What are you doing. You always wait for Thomas to get back." He said. "Oh yeah. Not today." I replied trying to put off nothing was wrong. He walked closer to me. "Alex? What's wrong." He asked with a concerned look on his face. "What. Oh nothing." I said trying to hold the tears back. "Alex I know you too well. Something is wrong." He said. "What are you talking about know me too well. You probably aren't even my friend, probably just like Thomas! Who faked everything!" I yelled at him. He seemed surprised at my tone. "Alex I-" he started but I cut him off. "Save it Minho! I know what you are really thinking." I yelled. I got up and ran away to my room in the homestead. No one bothered me for a while because they probably don't care, but then there was a knock on the door. I got up from my comfortable possion on my bed and answered the door. "What." I spoke with out even looking to see who it was. "Well that's a nice way to answer the door." Alby said. "Sorry. What do you want." I said bluntly. "I want you to get out of this shucking room and follow me." He said. "Why." I asked. "Because I said so." Was all he said before pulling me by my arm down the stairs and we stopped right before you walk out of the door to exit the homestead. "Before I open this door. I want you to know this was all Minho's idea. Okay? We just helped." He said. "Um okay?" I said back. "Open the door." He spoke pointing to the door. I pushed the door open and I couldnt believe what I saw. A big table covered with food. Lights hanging from trees. And all the boys wearing tuxitios. "Whoa." I whispered to myself. There in the middle of all the boys was Minho. Standing with a rose in his hand. He walked toward me. "Alex. Please take this rose and know that. I was not faking when I did that I was your friend and that I knew you. I care about you and the only boy that isn't here right now is that shickface Thomas who broke your heart. I want you to know that none of us would hurt you." He said to me. I took the rose from his warm hands. "Minho. I care about each and everyone of you. Thank you for all of this. This is incredible. And minho, I head it was all your idea." I said to him with a smirk. "Well yeah." He said. "Listen the truth is I like you. Alot." He added on. "But I know. You most likely don't like me back and-" I but him off by putting my lips against his. He put his hands on my cheaks and made the kiss deeper. Cheers went all over the crowd of boys and even some 'get a rooms' but we didn't care. We pulled away and out our foreheads against each others. " wow." Minho whispered. "I love you." I said to him scared of his response. But he put his lips on mine again but for a softer yet passonite kiss. "I love you too." He said when he pulled away.
Wow. I guess they do love me.
