Tony's POV
Is he ok? After his "performance" he just collapsed. Jarvis still can't find anything wrong with him. He's got a lot of explaining to do.
"If he doesn't wake up soon we should call Nick," Bruce suggested.
Peter's POV
I could hear them talking but I couldn't move. Bruce just suggested the hospital. "BOO!" I was so scared I jumped onto the ceiling. "Told you that would work." Clint said.
"His instincts must have taken over." Tony said looking up at me. Oh I'm still on the ceiling.
I jumped down and sighed. "I guess I owe you guys an explanation."
"YEAH!" They yelled simultaneously.
I took off the mask. "My name is Peter Parker. A few months after I got my powers and my Uncle's death, I started hearing these voices. It turned out to be just one, his name was Venom. He said he could make me a better hero, and I believed him. I let him take over, and for a while, he kept his promise. We worked together, fighting crime, but then he started to get more violent. He wanted to kill the criminals." I sighed. "It never stopped there, he started wanting to kill anyone who messed with me and then just random people. I had to put a stop to it but he had already become too powerful. I knew I needed help, so I went to an old friend, Dr. Strange. With some magic he helped take Venom down. He was already bonded with my DNA so Strange couldn't remove him without killing me. He told me how to keep him down until I stopped feeling his presence all together. I'd totally forgotten about him, until now."
He's getting stronger. I started feeling sick to my stomach. "Um, guys? I think he wants to talk to you."
Steve nodded. "Let him talk." The voice took over and I watched, patiently.
"Hello again. Now young Peter has misspoken, I didn't want to kill random people, I just assessed potential threats that needed to be taken care of. It just so happens killing is the most effective way to get rid of villains, unless you want them coming after you later."
"He's got a point." Natasha stated.
"Don't get me wrong, I still hold Peter's values, to fight evil and be good, we just have a different definition of 'evil'. If you get in my way I won't hesitate to kill you." Time's up. I struggled to regain control, but I was able to rein him in. I looked at the shocked faces of my new team.
"See?"
"What the hell? It would have been nice to know you had an evil monster inside of you, and you're a kid?" Tony asked.
"I'm not a kid, I'm 18." I protested. "Besides, I had forgotten about him. If anything, blame SHIELD for not including that in the file they probably have on me. Admitting to Venom would mean admitting I'm a monster, that I have something in me that represents what I live to fight."
"You're not a monster, and none of this is your fault." Steve glared at Tony."Can't you just go back to Strange? I bet he could fix this." I asked hopefully.
"No, I went straight to Strange as soon as I felt his presence, but nothing worked. He said something about Venom blocking his attacks. It's going to take time to find a new way to fix this, if he can at all," I looked away.
"He must have been adapting to survive all this time. Smart." Tony praised.
Tony's POV
This kid is a walking specimen, even his evil side is smart. I'm glad he's on our side, for the moment anyway. "Don't worry, where magic lacks, science makes up for. Lucky for you, there are 3 science geeks in this tower. I'm sure somehow we'll find a way to get rid of Venom." I tried sounding hopeful but even I had to admit, things looked dark. If the Sorcerer Supreme couldn't do anything, what good could I do? At least I wasn't alone. "So, when should we start?"
