Izzy Newman
One month later
"Bye mom, love you!" I called out as I got out of my mom's car, walking up the steps of the school.
"Hey, Izzy! Ashton said, greeting me in the hallway.
"Oh, hi, Ash!" I said, giving him a hug. I didn't expect to run into him so early.
"So we're all meeting up after school today right?"
"Yeah, for sure."
"I'm so glad I met you guys, because I can not go back to Ivy and Olivia."
"Who?"
"My ex-best friends. Ivy told me that Brett, my asshole ex-boyfriend, dumped me for her."
"Aw, I'm sorry, Izzy. You love calling people assholes huh?" Ashton laughed.
"Haha, yeah, I guess I do. Only if they deserve it though. And Brett definitely deserves the title. So does Ivy."
"Does Ivy happen to have blond hair, and gray eyes? And does Brett have light brown hair, and a cocky-ass smile?"
"Um yeah, why?" I question.
"Because I think that's them walking towards us." I turn around and see Ivy and Brett, hand in hand, strutting down the halls, locking eyes with me until they stopped three feet in front of me.
"Hey, Izzy, what's up? I'm sure since you've let go of the popular life you're in absolute misery without me. Am I right or am I right?" Ivy scoffed.
"Actually no, because I have daddy now, new friends and I'm loving my life even more than when I hung out with you. Since leaving you, I've been shown what a true friend is and I've found way more than one. I don't need you, I'm doing just find on my own. So I suggest you back away now, before things gets ugly."
"You can't-"
"Stop." I put my left hand right in front of Ivy's face. "By the way, my mistake. Things can't get ugly, because they already are. Take a good look in the mirror, bitch." I said, leaving Ivy gasping as I pulled Ashton aside and started to walk away.
"Don't tell anyone I called you daddy." I whispered, looking around to make sure none of my new friends were around to hear what I just said.
"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." Ashton smirked, holding out a hand. I grabbed it, smiling from ear to ear, and he walked me to my first class, just like that.
💔
"So, are you finally going to take me to your house?" I asked Ashton, meeting him in the front of the school, minutes after we heard the bell that signaled the end of the day.
"Oh, right, I forgot about that. Do you want me to take you there instead of the club?"
"That's why I asked you, dumbass." I said jokingly, punching his arm.
"Ow!" He said sarcastically, pretending to be in pain, rubbing his arm. "You can meet my mum, my little brother, and my little sister."
"Oh you have siblings? I'm great with kids. How old are they?"
"Harry is 11 and Lauren is 13." He replied.
"Aww, well I can't wait to meet them."
"Great, because we're here." Ashton said as we stopped in front of a two-story white house.
"Wow, I didn't notice we were even walking. Your house isn't far from school." I said as Ashton opened the door for me and we both walked in.
"Hi, mum, I'm home!" Ashton called out as he sets his backpack down on a light tan couch.
