"What do you mean you re-broke his heart?" Amy questioned me.

"Well, you know, he's already broken because of his dad, and I think I just made it worse."

"Oh God, what did you do?"

"He asked me to be his girlfriend and I kind of said no." I said quickly.

"What?"

"He asked me to be his girlfriend and I kind of said no." I whispered.

"Izzy, speak up, just tell me!"

"He asked me to be his girlfriend and I kind of said no!" I screamed, and everybody in the restaurant looked up at me, annoyed. I forgot we were even there. We walked outside and sat down on a nearby bench.

"Izzy, why did you say no? You and Ashton would be the perfect couple. I swear since you met you've been spending time together nonstop."

"I know, but...I just, well.... I don't know! I wanted to say yes but I just didn't!" I said, becoming frustrated with myself. I put my head down and rubbed my hands through my hair, fully realizing the repercussions of my mistake

"Why did you say no if you want to be with him then?" I felt Amy's hands travel to my back, comfortingly patting it. 

"I'm just confused. I'm over Brett, completely, but my heart is still broken."

"I bet Ashton could fix it." Amy said in a quiet voice.

"That's what he told me!" I looked up, feeling my eyes start to water.

"My heart wants him. I truly, truly want him. But it's like my mind is telling me to hold off. I just don't know, Amy!"

"Izzy, if you are ever trying to make a hard decision, listen to your heart. Your mind will pull at your heartstrings and try to decide it for you, but it's really only making things worse. Your mind will pull you in a hundred different directions but your heart will only take you to one. The best one."

"Amy, I feel so stupid. I've never really known how to listen to my heart. I've always let my mind make up my decisions. But now, I'm letting my heart take over, my gut instinct, and it says that I need to be with Ashton."

"There's still time, babe. Go ahead and tell him now!"

"Really?"

"Yes, go! I bet he ran off to the club."

"You think so?"

"I swear on Michael Clifford."

"Alright. I'll see you soon, girl, and when I do, I'll be Ashton's girlfriend!"

"Ashton, Ashton! Where's Ashton?" I said, my chest pumping up and down, out of breath, as I enter the club. I ran all the way from Pizza Hut, which was 10 blocks away, so I was pretty tired.

"Bathroom. Crying his eyes out. About you." Calum answered. Only him, Brianna, and Michael were there. I wanted to ask about where Luke and Nav were, but I was too worried about Ashton to think about it too much.

"Oh, no. He's crying because of me? I must really suck."

"Yeah, you do."

"Michael!" Calum and Brianna said simultaneously.

"What? She broke one of my best mates heart. Again. He's already broken hearted and now look what she did."

"But Michael, I came to apologize and say yes to him. I realize how stupid I was to say no and that I really do want to be his girlfriend. I want him so badly."

"Oh. You do?"

"Yeah."

"Well what are you standing here for? Go get your man, woman!"

I grinned and ran to the bathroom. I stood outside and heard quiet sobs through the door.

"Ashton? It's me, Izzy." I said gently.

"Izzy? Why are you here?" He asked softly.

"I need to talk to you."

"No. You just rebroke my fucking heart."

So I've been told three times now, I thought.

"Please?"

"No."

"Baby, please let me in."

"Why?"

"I want to see that handsome face of yours." I said honestly.

"Izzy, just go."

"No. I'm not leaving. Not until I get to speak to you face to face."

"Well then you'll be waiting a while."

"Dammit Ashton." I whispered. "Forget it,  I'm coming in." I swung the door open and I saw him right in front me. I wrapped my arms around him and let his warm embrace surround me, letting the world fall away as I lost myself in his arms.

"Ashton," I started, holding him by the cheeks, wiping his tears away with my thumb. "I'm so, so sorry. I was stupid to say no to you. I've never known how to listen to my heart until now, and it's telling me I need to be with you. If I hadn't met you, I don't know where I'd even be right now. You changed my life, and I think I'm in love with you. So Ashton Irwin, I do want be your girlfriend. If you still want me to, of course."

Ashton paused for a split second. "Hell yeah I still want you to be my girlfriend!" He said excitedly, and picked me up by the waist and spun me around. We leaned in closer to each other and then he finally placed his lips on mine. It felt like I'd been waiting forever to feel his kiss, and now that finally had it, I never wanted it to end.

Ashton slipped his tongue in my mouth, and I squealed little, but let it happen. After a moment, I slipped my own tongue into his mouth, hungry for more.

"Woah, I didn't know you guys were gonna get freaky with the door open." Calum interrupted, suddenly appearing behind me. 

"Calum, what are you doing?" I said, slapping his shoulder.

"I need to pee, obviously. That's why I came to the bathroom. So are you guys like a thing now?"

"Yes, we just made it official 30 seconds ago."

"Well congrats you two, now get out unless you want to watch me piss myself-"

"Okay, I'm out! Let's go tell the others, Ash." I said, pulling my new boyfriend out of the bathroom, excited to tell everyone that we were a couple.
