Two weeks into the new year we were back at school, and I was already hating it.

"Mr. Diaz is so annoying, Ash. I have so much homework, I'm definitely not going to get to sleep until at least 3 am." I complained as I sat down at our usual lunch table and leaned on my boyfriend's shoulder.

"So, I probably shouldn't come over then?"

"Unless you want to stay up solving geometry equations with me, then probably not." I laughed as I opened up my lunch bag.

"Well I can't help you with the math, but I can kiss you every time you get frustrated." He smiled cheekily.

"See, this is why I love you." I gave him a light kiss on the cheek.

"Ew." Calum scrunched his nose as he sat down on the other side of the table.

"Shut up, you and Brianna make out every free second that you get." I said sassily.

"True, but we aren't making out now." He said just as Brianna sat down next to him.

"Hey, babe." Brianna greeted Calum with a kiss.

"Proof to my point." I gestured to them and Ashton high-fived me.

"It is getting so hard to carry around this backpack and this baby, and it's only been half of the first day back." Brianna groaned as she dug her fork angrily into her salad.

"Want me to rub your back? I can carry your backpack for the rest of the day since all of our classes are the same after lunch." Calum offered.

"Of course he's only nice to Brianna." Amy sat down next to me, with Michael coming not far behind her.

"Well you're only nice to Michael." Calum said back.

"Shut up, I can be nice if I want to. And right now, I choose not to."

"You'll still be nice to me though right?" Michael asked hopefully.

"Of course, baby." Amy wrapped her arm around Michael and brought him closer to her.

"I've got an interesting group of friends." I said, biting into my sandwich.

"You've got that right." Brianna agreed.

"Guys, guess what?" Nav came running from the lunch line to the table.

"What is it, Nav?" Ashton asked.

"I'm moving in with Luke!" Nav answered excitedly.

"It's true." Luke came up from behind and said proudly.

"What? Really?" We all had surprised looks on our faces.

"Now you'll get to fuck whenever you want to!" Brianna laughed.

"Only if mum isn't home." Luke quickly said.

"So why are you moving in with Luke, Nav?" Amy asked.

"I'm just tired of my mom controlling me all the time. I get she's my mom and she should be protective or whatever, but she crosses the line." Nav explained.

"And she let you move out?"

"When I told her, she was crying tears of joy. I bet if I had just packed up and left she wouldn't even care."

"Luke, your parents are cool with Nav coming to live with you?"

"Yeah, they know she has problems with her mom and they like her, so they're allowing her to come." Luke answered.
