"So do you have any plans for New Years, baby?" It's been a week since Amy and Michael got engaged, and now it is New Years Eve. Ashton was at my house, and we were cuddling.
"I usually just ring in the new year with my mum, brother, and sister, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind if I spend it with you. Only if that's what you were implying, of course."
"Duh, that's what I was implying. I've got a smart boyfriend." I smiled and left a soft kiss on his cheek.
"So, it's all right if I come over? Your parents won't mind?"
"Nah, they'll be fine with it. They like you. Hey, we should have a party! We can invite Amy, Michael, Calum, Brianna, Nav, and Luke!"
"Yeah, good idea. Hey, you know what's funny? We invite the same people over for everything that we do. If we're not doing something just you and me, all of them will be involved too."
"It's not like we have any other friends to invite." I laughed.
"True."
"So, we're having a party. What should we do?" I asked.
"We have to stay up past midnight obviously."
"And have a toast!"
"Why would we have toast?" Ashton asked.
"A toast baby, with drinks in glasses, not crispy warm bread." I explained.
"Oh, oops." He smiled at me innocently.
"You're cute when you're clueless. Anyway, back to party planning. We should go to the store and get some New Years hats and glasses, you know, to get us in the mood."
"Sure! Let's text everyone to see what they think." Ashton suggested, and I went into our group text.
Me: Hi guys! If you're not doing anything tonight come over to my house so we can ring in 2016 together 😁
Amyyy 🍕: I'll come but only if I can bring my hubby ❤️

"We can?" Ashton's eyes lit up.
"No."
"Fuck."
"Me later." I finished his sentence for him.
"Oh trust me, I will." He smirked at me, and pulled me on his lap. I cupped his face in my hands and pulled it closer until Ashton's lips were touching mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he draped his hands lazily around my butt.
"Izzy have I ever told you how much I love your ass?"
"You just did."
