I was trudging through the forest with my pack slug on my shoulder. I guess Liam and David were right behind me. I was so mad. No one could describe how mad I was. If David made one more false move I would kill him on the spot.
I guess you're wondering how I'm going to torture David. Well, if he doesn't die first, I would feed him to some mutt the Capitol would most likely make at the end of the games, which was nearing. I know it was cruel, but come on, he just murdered my best friend. Would you be mad too?
I looked back to find Liam having an iron grip on David's arm. Even tighter than the first day we met David. It was nice to have someone to protect me. The tips of my mouth curled to make a small smile. I looked away quickly so they wouldn't see my expression. I faced forward.
I couldn't help thinking about Liam. Did he have feelings for me? What about Jack? I know he had feelings for me. He told me and he showed me through that kiss.
I brought my hand up to my lips, still feeling the sensation of his lips on mine. It felt like fireworks were going off. Did this mean I liked him too? Would I feel that same way if I kissed Liam? I don't know.
I guess I was getting a bit too far ahead of the group. I looked back and the two lads were farther than before. I stopped, waiting for them to catch up.
"No need to go so slow. Your leg isn't stabbed," I huffed, once they caught up. I was clearly still mad. You could hear it in my words and voice. I looked at David and he just rolled his eyes. Liam had a look of sympathy and sorriness. I shook my head. I started to walk again, matching their pace, so they wouldn't get left behind again.
"What are we going to do?" Liam asked.
I shrugged. I really didn't know how both of us could survive. I don't even know what we're going to do 'till then. I just hope it doesn't come down to Liam and I.
"I don't know. I guess just wait it out."
He nodded. We walked on.

It soon got dark, so we tied David tightly to a tree and we slept in the tree he was tied to. I tied myself down with a rope and Liam was next to me. I used him as warmth. It was a cold night and I didn't want to stay awake being cold.
Soon the Panem symbol showed in the sky and we saw only a few tributes dead. That meant there were only four tributes left. We were getting near the end and I had to admit I was terrified. There was only one tribute that I didn't know of. Liam, David, that mysterious tribute I knew nothing of, and I were the only ones left.
I know this sounds cruel, but I really hope they all die, but not by me. Well, maybe David. I could bear with that. Just not Liam or that other tribute who didn't know who it was. Let's hope he/she is weak.
I'm hoping I don't have another dream about Liam and/or Jack. I couldn't bear another one. Even more that Liam was right next to me. I didn't want to be talking in my sleep and I whisper his name and he questions me about it. I don't want that to happen.
But my mind has other plans.
**Dream**
"I do like her okay!" Liam yelled. He was on the ground with Jack towering over him. It was the same setting as my last dream. I think this is where it left off.
"You know that will do you no good! You're going to die and she's going to come back to me and she will be sad about you and she knows that I love her too! She has to love me back. If she didn't she wouldn't have kissed me back!" Jack bellowed at Liam. I saw terror in his eyes, then surprise when he heard about a kiss.

Fanfiction--Alright before you say anything, I know this story may be bad, but please hear me out. I know that in Catching Fire it is totally different, but I wanted it to be my way, and so I made this book. In this book Catching Fire doesn't exist, alright...
