I was now on my couch, just watching the fire crackle, when I heard a bit of commotion outside. I quickly put some shoes on and headed outside toward the commotion. I found Jack standing there at a restaurant we had in our town. It seemed like everyone was there and I wondered why.

"Jack? What's going on?" I asked, walking out to him. He smiled at me. What the heck was going on?!

"May, will you go on a date with me?" He asked. Of course I would, what was he thinking?

"Of course, idiot. You think I would deny you?" I laughed. He shook his head and kissed my temple. He took my hand and we went inside the restaurant. What was going on?

We were about thirty minutes into the date when Jack started to ask me questions.

"May Hunter?" He asked. I nodded at him to go on. "I've loved you for a very long time." Everyone seemed to be staring at us right now. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you." He knelt down onto the ground and pulled out a velvet box. Oh my god is he really? Oh my god! As he opened it he said, "Will you marry me?" Oh my god! He actually proposed! I never thought he would! And he wants to spend the rest of his life with me and he said he loved me!

I hadn't realized I left him waiting so I quickly yelled, " Yes! Yes of course I would!" And with that the people in the restaurant burst into applause and Jack slipped on the ring on my finger. He stood up and I kissed him on the lips, just attacking them with happiness and he kissed back. Once I pulled away I smiled while looking into the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. "I love you."

"And I love you." With that he kissed me again and I heard a few whoops in the backround, but I couldn't care less. I was now engaged to my best friend and I was so happy.

No One's POV

Rocking in a chair, on the porch, just watching her front yard, May sat. She has had a good life. She knew there was so much in front of her and he couldn't wait for it to happen. Except the Hunger Games, but May didn't want to think about that right now, all she wanted to think about was her two kids, playing in the front yard.

Sampson had Jack's eyes and May's hair. He was the first child of the family. Once he was born, Jack and May were so proud. They had finally had a child. It took many times for May to agree to having a child, as it would be very hard to do so.

Audrey had May's eyes and Jack's hair. She was her second child. She was even more proud of her. She was her first girl and she knew she was going to be beautiful front the first moment May had laid her eyes on her. She loved her with all her heart and knew that Sampson was going to protect her from anything. She just knew it. That is exactly how May and Jack are raising him.

There sat another child in May's stomach. She was reluctant to have a third child, but she knew she could take care of it. She obviously didn't care if it was a boy or girl. Either way, she would be proud of it. Soon it would come and they were ready.

The Hunger Games still go on and May's three children will have to go through it and she hopes they will never get picked. She knows that they will never have to put their name in more times for extra food because they had plenty.

They still give amounts of money and good to the Malik family and they are coming by. They aren't struggling anymore and can get nice things now.

May was happy that she could do something right. She was tired of not being able to do anything. Now that she has, she feels so much better about herself.

Jack is proud of her too. He has always wanted May to be his wife and now they are together and have two children and one on the way. He was proud that she gave up a portion of her winnings and gave it to that family in need. He knew she was right for him. She was perfect in every way and he loved her so much. So much she could never understand.

Jack had always kept May safe from the Capitol and she was forever grateful. She would always worry about him and her children, but he put her worry at ease with a hug and a kiss.

They kept each other safe. Safe and sound. And they were both happy. They had a new life and they were going to live through it together forever and always.

Safe and sound. Forever.
