I was running as fast as I could away from the mystery tribute. I didn't realize I wasn't looking where I was going until I ran into something. I flew back with the momentum that I had. I fell flat on my backside and grunted. I looked up to find Liam standing there.

"Oh my goodness Liam! You scared me! Also it's good I found you. I poisoned David and now he's dead," I gushed. I felt a pump of adrenaline in my veins. I got up with the help from Liam.

"I heard the cannon. I thought it was you, so I ran to find you. I got worried."

I smiled. "Liam, it's alright. I'm fine. Now let's go find that mystery tribute," I said patting his shoulder and walking off to find the mystery tribute.

My knees were starting to buckle. I had been walking for what seemed like a day. Liam was behind me, as exhausted as I was. I had to sit down, and so I did. I found a large rock that both of us could sit on.

We both tried to catch our breath. I laid down and my head landed in Liam's lap. He didn't seem to mind. I looked up into his eyes. They were a light chocolate this time. When he looked down at me, they turned a darker brown. He smiled at me and my lips curved up. His eyes started to sparkle. His head started to lean forward towards me. His eyes sparkled even more. My eyes went from his lips and back up to his eyes multiple times. Then I realized...

I've only kissed Jack.

This would be my second kiss.

My eyes widened. The sparkle in his eyes disappeared and it was replaced with confusion. I was so scared. I didn't want to kiss him. What if I felt sparks? What would happen if he died? I can't do this.

"What's wrong, May?" He asked. I didn't want to answer his question. We were on national television. I didn't want everyone in Panem knowing I've only kissed one person in my life.

I sat back up and whispered in his ear, "I've only kissed one other person before." His eyes widened in shock. I put my finger up to my lips and a shh sound came out of my mouth. He nodded.

"Well then, we better make your second one special." Before I could speak he grabbed my face and crashed his lips onto mine. My eyes widened in shock and then I realized what was happening. Liam was kissing me. I just melted in his arms. I couldn't believe this was actually happening. His lips were just how I imagined them; soft and plump.

I moved my hands into his hair. He cocked his head to the side to make it more intimate. Before I knew it, I had to breathe. I didn't want to part from his lips, but I had to. I pulled back and the air came back into my lungs. We were both panting, trying to get our breath back to normal.

"I can't believe that just happened," I said.

"Please, don't be mad," Liam pleaded. I laughed and shook my head. "Good. I'm just curious, but who was your first kiss?" I didn't want to tell him that either.

"It was my best friend, Jack. It wasn't that long ago. In fact he kissed me when we were having visitors that day when we got picked at the reaping," I looked up at Liam. Well now everyone knew. I didn't care. What could they do about it? Kill Jack? If that would happen I would most likely die from depression of not having friends. "Well let's get out of all this feeling and find that tribute, alright?"

Liam nodded and we walked on to find that tribute, again.

We had been walking for ages until it started to reach nightfall. I decided we needed to keep looking. I didn't want someone to sneak up on us and kill us in the middle of the night. We had to be on guard at all times.
