Chapter Five

Catherine's POV

I woke up with a strong arm around my waist, the warmth and tingles told me it was Xavier. "I know your up Kitten" he whispers huskily in my ear making my shiver, turning over I was face to face with him.

Our lips inches apart, his warm mint breath falling on my parted lips. His blue eyes turning black, lust and love swirling in them

"Xav-" I was cut off by him placing his warm lips on mine, they sent zings of electricity through me. The warmth I had felt before was intensified and the tingles turned to sparks.

My lips molded against his as they moved in perfect harmony, "Fuck, I've wanted to do that when I first saw you" he breathed his eyes still black when he pulled back. My eyes close and a smile creeped its way on my face.

I will enjoy what little time we have together

Opening my eyes I blush at him, he was still staring me, the same look in his eyes. "Be safe today Kitten, I will gone all of it" Xavier says and slides from bed showing me his back.

Swallowing hard I shake off any guilt I felt and frowned a little, turning around Xavier chuckles at my face and makes his way over. "Don't worry" he kisses my lips, "we can spend tomorrow together" he says and steals another kiss.

When he breaks it I smile and nod, all of it fake. Xavier moves around the room and gathers clothes before change in front of me, I sequel and close my eyes. His husky laugh bounces off the walls of the room.

"You can look now Kitten" he laughs making me blush and uncover my eyes. "I'll see you later" he places a lingering kiss on my cheek. Instead I did something that shocked both of us.

I grab the back of his neck and place his lips on mine and kiss him like I was saying goodbye. "Wow" Xavier pants when I pull back, a goofy grin on his face. "Go so you can be back sooner" I say with a wink.

He nods his head rapidly and leaves the room but not without another kiss. Once he leaves I head for the shower. I made sure to make it quick, before I dressed in some boot cut jeans and a sweater with black tennis shoes that have a silver base underneath the black.

Pulling my wet hair back in a bun I grab a backpack full of clothes and put my wallet and keys in it and practically skip down the steps. There were two people in the living room, both from my kidnapping.

"Where are you off to little Luna?" One of them asked, "Xavier said I could go out" I lie. They look at me warily, "Alpha's orders" I smile and they nod. "Stay in the pack landers and don't talk to any men" the other says.

Sending them a bright smile I walk outside where my car sits, I bolt to my car and throw the door open. Jumping in I start my car, the engine making no sound as I shift into gear and tear out of the concrete drive.

I speed past the limit towards my house, I only have so much time. In truth there was no point going home, but from what I was taught by my parents this was going to help. Wasting no time I turn off my car and run for my door.

My hands shook so bad I dropped the key at least two time before I could actually open the door. I stood there for a minute catching my breath before taking off into my study. I wrenched open my drawers and pulled out another wallet and switched on my other phone.

My heart hammered in my chest, and my hands shook. With shaky fingers I dial Cole's number but it goes to voicemail. "Hey Cole its me, I don't have much time to explain but this is code red for me. I'm out" I murmur lowly into the phone.

Looking out my window I see a car was pulling through the trees, "fuck!" I scream and fly towards my back door was pull it open. I run so fast Usain Bolt would have been proud.

With no I only had few option, either make my way to the airport somehow or go back for my car. The phone buzzed in my hand, looking down I see it was Cole "Cat listen to me, go to mom and dads. I will get you out" he says before the line clicks dead.

"Here we go" I stutter step before taking off again, my body hadn't been conditioned since I moved out. My parents house was a whole hour from mine, add another thirty minutes or less and I would be there.

Pumping my arms and legs I bolt away from my house and my kidnappers. The farther I got an ache in my heart grew. I felt empty and cold but it only drive me more. "Catherine stop!" I hear Xavier's voice, I consider stopping.

'No, must get out!' The voice of reason in my head screamed at me.

I listened to her and push harder, I could hear the thumping of what sounded like paws to me. There was no way I could out run a wolf but I would try. "Hurry Cat!" I hear Cole scream, had it been that long?

Shaking my head I cry when I see the car at the end of the drive way. A loud snarl comes from behind me when I jumped into the car. My lips quivered when I saw the angry yet heart broken wolf.

"Step on it" I sniffle, Cole wastes no time in stepping on the gas and getting the hell out. "Catherine what was that!" Cole growled, "you know what happens if we get exposed" he hissed at me.

"Coke I called for help not for you to chew my ass" I snarl, both of us growling at each other. Our eyes flashed, "do you want to end up like Luke?" He growls and I flinch. "Shit Cat, I'm sorry" he says.

I didn't look at him, I wouldn't let him see my cry. "Just drive" I croak letting the tears roll down my cheeks. The ride to the airport was silent, nothing needed to be said. Although thought I was getting way from Xavier, my heart couldn't help but cry out for him.

Stupid

I think to myself.
