Chapter Six

Catherine's POV

Cole drove me to the airport in silence, "call me when you land" he says softly and kisses the side of my head. Nodding I  grab the bag and at my feet and jump from the car, I walk briskly and blend into the mass of people.

"Excuse me miss?" I when I reach the empty desk, a grandmotherly woman sat there. "Oh hello dear what can I help you with?" She asks in a sweet, gentle tone "when does the next flight to Canada leave?" I ask lowly.

"The next flight leaves in ten minutes" she says while looking at her computer. "Thank you" I say before turn on my heel and leave in the direction of the gate. I reach the gate with five minutes to spare.

I felt antsy, like someone was watching me. Feeling the hood of my jacket over my head I scan the crowd, my eyes fall on a person sitting not to far away from me. I snort and the persons face turns confused.

"Next time Xavier sends someone tell him to do a better job" I hiss under my breath, I watch the persons face contort into anger. Chuckling lowly I turn my back to them.

"Flight 162 for Canada is now boarding" a voice announces over the speaker. I grin and step into line, perks of being first class. But it seems there was a commotion with whoever was up there.

Sighing I cross my arms over my chest and tap my foot. The person behind me exhales annoyed "think your going somewhere" he says in a husky voice. I shoot straight up and glare at him under my hold.

It was the man before.

"Yes" I growl, my eyes flashing under my hood. "Think again" he says before throwing me over his shoulder and carrying me away from my flight. My body goes still, my mind shuts down.

Another part of me takes over, "let me down" my voice is cold and sharp like knives. I feel the unknown mans body shiver at my voice. "Not yet" his voice wavered with fear, "I don't think Xavier would like you man handling his mate" I hiss.

The man shudders at the thought, "guess he won't find out" he says. Looking up I see we were outside on one side of airport that no one was one. Since I couldn't see in front of me I couldn't see Xavier.

"Put her down" I hear Xavier velvety voice, the other part of my hides away and I was back. The man set me on m feet, my back still to Xavier. "Hayden get in the car, I will deal with my mate" he growls at Hayden, better known as the man who was holding me.

Foot steps retreat and footsteps come close. I can feel Xavier's hot breath on my hair, a hand lands on my shoulder and I'm spun around to face him. I stare at the ground, he growls at me.

I bit my tongue, I couldn't let it control me.

He grips my chin and forces me to look at him, his beautiful face had to emotion. "Miss me?" He snarls, I grit my teeth in anger. My hands curl into fist by my sides, "no smart comments?" He sneers making a low growl escape my lips.

"Ooh kitty got some claws" he taunts and begins me circle me, his eyes rake over me. "What will I do with you?" He asks suddenly behind me, whispering in my ear. "Let me go" I hiss and he just chuckles.

"I let you slip through once, but never again" he growls lowly in my ear. I feel something prick the back of my neck, "what did you do to me?" I cry out as numbers seeps into my system.

"Shh just relax" he swoops me up princess style,my head laying in the crook of his neck. "W-why?" I slur as I begin to grow extremely tired, "because your mine" Xavier kisses my forehead and slide me into the car.

Shutting the door I lean my head against the window and close my eyes. My body was burning off what ever Xavier injected me with. I could feel my body temperature rising to burn it off.

"It is hot in here?" I hear Hayden ask, "no" Xavier snaps making me stifle a laugh.

Focus Cat! We mustn't forget our training!

The voice hisses, maybe we should stay? I say meekly.

Stay? As in with him?

The voice shrieks, yes, he will always find us , I hiss back.

Fine, but if anything happens we are gone yeah?

The voice says.

Yeah

I say back, opening my eyes I see we are stuck in traffic. Rubbing my temples I try and reach out to Cole,

'Cole?' I try, but it seems I as blocked.

"CATHERINE!" Xavier shouts from the front seat making me jump. "What" I scowl at him, "how are you still awake?" He asks astonished. "Wouldn't you like to know" I growl, his eyes widen.

"D-did you just growl at me?" He stammers, I smirk and flash my eyes under my hood. "Maybe" I sneer causing his eyes to turn black, the car shuts off and they both climb out.

Xavier comes around and yanks open my door and pulls me out. Gripping my arm tight in his grip he drags me inside. He drags me to what's looks like his office and sits me in a chair.

Luke walks in behind us and closes the door. "Explain" Xavier demands while sitting in his big boy chair. I zip my lips and smirk at him, his eyes grow darker. "Don't test me Catherine" he sneers.

I sit stubbornly in my chair, "Alpha don't push her" Luke says wisely. "Shut up Luke" Xavier growls, Luke growls right back making my eyes widen. "Do you dare disobey me?" Xavier yells abruptly standing up.

Luke's eyes widen a fraction of a second before he bares his neck in submission, "excuse my behavior Alpha" Luke murmurs. Xavier nods in approval and sits back down and stares at my intensely.

"I will ask you one more time" he grits out.

"Why did you run from me?" Xavier demands and slams his hands down on his desk making me jump. I lower my head and look at my hands in my lap, salty tears dribble down my cheeks leaving streaking in their face.

"Luke leave us alone" Xavier demands, I hear the door creak open and shut. "Cat look at me" Xavier demands softly, I ignore his demand and zone out.

Dad will have my head for this!

Cole is gonna be pissed.

I will be disowned for my wrongs.

That last thought send me into hysterics, I can't be disowned. A warm hand grips my chin and looks at me, "what are you?" He asks me lowly. I freeze up and look at him fearfully.

"H-human" I choke out he chuckles bitterly, "I feel like your lying" he says sourly making my lips teach at the corners. "Maybe" I laugh weakly, using his thumbs Xavier wipes away my tears and stares into my eyes.

"I feel like you stronger than a human" he says still looking in my eyes.

"Faster"

"Smarter"
