Callie's POV: I'm in the bathroom, putting my makeup on, because we are going to Arizona's house for cards, when I hear Mia in the bedroom.

"Shit. Seriously?"

"What? Is everything ok?" I ask her and walk into the bedroom.

"I just got called into work. Emergency case. They didn't give me a lot of details." She says and throws her phone on the bed.

"That sucks. Do you want me to cancel with Arizona?" I ask, secretly hoping she says no because I really want to play Cards Against Humanity.

"No. Go have fun. You deserve it." She says then gives me a kiss. "I have to leave like now. I love you and I'm sorry." She says and grabs her bag.

"It's ok. I love you too." I say and finish getting ready. Once I'm done, I go downstairs to ask Sofia if she is ready. I'm dropping her off at Mer's so her and Zola can have a sleepover.

"Ready?" I ask.

"Yeppers. Did Mia leave already?" She asks and grabs her bag.

"Yea. She got called into work. Emergency case."

"At 7 o'clock? On a Saturday?" Sofia questions.

"You know how her work is." I say. I've never really thought about it before but Mia does get called into work at weird times. It's probably because she is the best lawyer in the firm. "Go get in the car." I say and Sofia and I take off.

After I dropped Sofia off at Mer's, I run to the store to buy some wine even though Arizona said she had some. I pick up some white wine, I know it's her favorite, and then head over. I walk to the door and ring the bell. I hear foot steps coming to the door.

"Hi! It's nice to see you! Come on in." Arizona says. "Where's Mia?" She questions.

"Oh crap I forgot to tell you. She got called into work so she couldn't make it. I was gonna text you but completely forgot." I say

"It's fine. More fine for us." She jokes and laughs. I just realized how awkward this is going to be.

"Where are the kids?" I ask, trying to make a conversation.

"Oh my parents took them for a night. They wanted to spend sometime with their grandparents with out us." She say. I really like her and Carly's kids. They remind me a lot of Arizona. We walk into the kitchen and four wine glasses are sitting out on the table. I reach in my bag and pull out Cards Against Humanity and set them on the table.

"I can't believe this game is still popular." I say. "It came out when Sofia was still little."

"I know! Remember playing it with Meredith and Derek? That night was so much fun!" Arizona recalls and we start talking about our adventures from way back when. Our conversation is interrupted by a buzzing sound. Arizona and I look around before we realize that it's Carly's pager.

"CARLY! YOUR PAGER!" Arizona yells and Carly runs down the hall to check her pager.

"Crap. I gotta go." She says and looks up. "Oh hi, Callie. I didn't see you there."

"Hi," I say and laugh a little.

"Would you excuse us for a moment?"Arizona says and Carly and her step out into the foyer to talk. I can hear them talking in hushed voices.

"What do you mean you won't send her home?" Carly whispers.

"She is already here. I'm not going to say 'Well you can leave because my wife is uncomfortable with you here with me alone so bye!'" Arizona retaliates.

"Fine. Whatever. I am leaving." Carly says and slams the door. Arizona walks back into the kitchen.

"Sorry about that" she says awkwardly. "What kind of wine do you want?" She says as we walks over to the wine cabinet. "I don't have much so-"

"I brought some. Your favorite." I say and pull the bottle out of my bag. She turns around and smiles a big smile.

"Let's start with that then." She says and giggles. "So I don't think that we have enough players for Cards Against Humanity."

"I see that." I laugh. "Do you want to play a different one?"

"Sure. Which one? I'm not sure I have any games that aren't for children under the age of 5 but I can go check." She says and walks down the hallway. It's quiet for a bit. It makes me think of when Sofia was little and Mark would have her and it would be just Arizona and I in the house. "I have Jenga!" She yells from down the hall.

"That sounds fun!" I yell back. She walks into the kitchen with the game in her hands. She walks over to the table and dumps the blocks on the table then sits down. Together, we start to build the tower. After accidentally knocking it down twice, we finally finished it. "Ok. Do you want to go first?" I ask

"No. You're the guest. You go first." She says and I reach to grab a block. I go for an easy one.

"Ha. Your turn." I say and take a sip of wine. She also goes for an easy one. We take turns and after every block we take out, the tower gets a little less stable.

"Ok. My turn." Arizona says. She studies the tower with a concentrated face. I remember that face and I still find comfort in it. "You gonna go?" She says me and I'm pulled from my thoughts.

"Uh yea." I say and she laughs.

"Have fun. It's getting tricky." She says and empties her glass. She goes to get another and realizes that the first bottle is empty. "I guess we were thirsty. Do you want more?" She asks.

"Sure." I say and pull out a block. "O yea!" I celebrate.

"Wow. That's impressive." She says and laughs

"What can I say? I have very steady hands." I say nonchalantly.

"Yea. You do." She says and pours some more wine into my glass. I look up at her and smile. She smiles back. "How am I supposed to get a block out now?"

"I honestly am not sure how I got my block out." I say and laugh. She sits down and studies the tower more, then stands up and moves closer to me and leans on the table. I can't help but stare at her. She is so beautiful. She picks her hand up and tries to get a block out but her hand was a little shaky and the tower falls.

"NO!!!" She laughs. "Ah dang it" she says and throws the block on the table.

"I win!!" I yell and do a little dance.

"What was that?" Arizona says, laughing at me

"My celebration dance." I say and start to dance.

"You can't dance without music." She jokes and turns on the radio. Beyoncé happens to be on and we both laugh. We both start dancing and laughing and then her lips are on mine.
