Arizona's POV: I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock and the smell of bacon and coffee. Mmmm. I rolled over to find an empty bed. Carly must being the one making breakfast. I rolled back over and grabbed my phone. I clicked the unlock button and saw I had three missed calls from Callie. I sit up straight and look around. If I call her now, Carly could hear me. I glanced around the room and decided that the bathroom was my best shot for a private conversation. I sat up on the edge of the bed and slipped my leg on and hurried into the bathroom and shut the door quietly and locked it. I set the toilet seat down quietly and unlocked my phone again. I was about to press the call button under Calliope's name when there was a knock on the bathroom door and the door handle shake.

"Arizona?" Carly asked. "What are you doing? I made breakfast." I had to think quick.

"I uh I'm taking a shower quick." I stuttered.

"Want company?" Carly giggled.

"Uh not today." I mumble.

"Oh ok. Well breakfast will be ready when you're done." She stated and I heard her footsteps depart. I jumped up and turned the shower on but I waited for a couple of seconds to make sure she was gone and tapped the call button and put the phone to my ear. The line rang twice and then Callie's beautiful voice filled the speaker.

"Hey." Callie mumbled, I clearly woke her up.

"Hey sorry I didn't answer. Is everything alright?" I asked.

"Uh yea. Well no." She answered. "Mia told me something last night and I don't know how to feel about it." My heart starts to race. Is she staying with Mia?

"Well what was is?" I stammered.

"She cheated on me." Callie said blankly. I let out a quiet sigh of relief.

"Callie.... I'm so sorry." I whispered.

"Thanks. I just. I don't know what to do. I told her I want a divorce and now she's calling me every five minutes." We both didn't say anything for a while. The only reason I knew she was still on the line was because I could hear her breathing.

"Did you tell Carly?" She asked

"Uh no. She was sleeping when I got home and we have the kids today so I'm not sure if I'll have time to do it today. Maybe tonight." I stated. "Where are you?"

"I'm at a hotel. I didn't want to wake Mer up. Do you think it's possible that we could see each other today?" She requested. I bit my lip and pondered for a bit.

"I'm not sure. I know that Carly has something planned for the kids today but I'm not sure what it is. If it doesn't seem interesting, I could say I don't feel good and stay home and then you could come over." I suggested. It was risky but she needs me right now.

"Ok. That works. Text me if it works out." She said.

"Ok. Well I got to go.  Carly's gonna think it's suspicious if I come out of the bathroom with completely dry hair when I told her that I was taking a shower" I joked. I heated her laugh a little bit on the other line. "Calliope?"

"Yes?"

"I love you."

"I love you too. I'll see you later. Bye."

"Bye." And I hung up. I sat there for a bit and thought to myself, i don't deserve an amazing woman like that. I pondered for a bit but then stood up and jumped in the shower quick. After I cleaned myself up, I walked into the kitchen to find my three kids and wife sitting at the table, laughing and giggling. I stood there and stared at them, smiling. It's times like these that I would have to risk.

"Hi Momma!" Tim shouts.

"Good morning bud!" I say and walk over to the table. I stand behind his chair and lean forward and give him a kiss on the forehead. "How are you guys?" I ask.

"Mommy made us breakfast!" Emma exclaimed.

"I see that. Is it as delicious as it looks?"

"Better." Tim states and I smile and grab a plate and sit down and the only empty chair left at the table. I look over and Ivie and smile because she has chocolate from the chocolate chip pancakes smeared all over her face. I laugh and toss a few pancakes on my plate and cover them with syrup.

"So, what's the plan for today?" I ask.

"Well I was thinking we could take the kids to the trampoline park." Carly says and the kids eyes light up.

"Can we please?!?" Tim and Emma beg.

"I'm ok with it if Momma's ok with it" Carly says and looks at me. I really want to spend the day with my family but Callie really needs me.

"Uh you guys can go but I think I'm gonna stay home. I have a headache." I lie. I feel bad for lying to them and instantly regret it.

"Awwww." Emma groans.

"I'm sorry baby." I say and look into her sad eyes. "We can do something Sunday."

"Like what?" She asks, eyebrows raised.

"Maybe.... Shopping?" I suggest, knowing that's her most favorite thing to do.

"Ok!!!" She yells. I laugh and continue eating my pancakes.

"Ok kids go get cleaned up and dressed. We are leaving in 30 minutes." Carly says and the kids race off to their bedrooms to get dressed. "Are you sure you don't want to come?" Carly asks me again.

"Yea. I'm just not feeling too well. Why don't you ask Janet to go? Your sister would love to see the kids." I suggest and shove pancake in my mouth.

"Yea. I'll do that. Ok. I'm gonna jump in the shower. Can you get Ivana ready?" She asks and stands up.

"Yea." I answer and stand up to get Ivie out of her high chair. I pick her up and take her over to the counter so I can wash her face off. She whines a little but what else can you expect from a baby. I pick her back up and walk into the nursery to pick out her outfit. I can't believe I just lied to my kids. My kids. I thought. But Callie really needs me. Ivana is finally ready so I get her in her car seat right as Tim and Emma come running into the kitchen.

"Get your jackets. Mommy should be ready soon" I say and then Carly walks into the kitchen.

"Hey kids. Guess who's coming with us?" Carly asks the kids. They don't say anything. "Aunt Janet and your cousins, Aspen and Hayden!" The kids jump up and down. They love their cousins so much. "Ok. Let's go. You got your jackets and I got the baby and the diaper baby. Ok. Come on kids." Carly says and gives me a kiss on the cheek.

"See you later." I say and they head out the door. I watch them from the kitchen window, sipping my coffee. As soon as the car is out of the driveway and down the street, I grab my phone. I open my messages and find Callie's name.

Come on over.
