Arizona's POV: As we sit around the table, everything seems to be going well. We are engaged in a conversation about how bad drivers are and everyone is giving Sofia tips on how to be a good driver. She keeps laughing at Mom's tips.

"Oh and always keep an extra makeup bag in your car." She says and takes a sip of wine.

"Why?" Sofia laughs.

"You never know. You might get pulled over and have to talk your way out of a ticket with a very attractive, young cop..."

"MOM!" I say and then laugh. This gets a laugh out of Sof.

"I'm just giving her life tips." Mom says and then winks at Sofia. It's quiet for a bit, then our food is set in front of us. Instantly, we all dig in.

"So, how is Callie?" My mom asks. I stop chewing and glance up at Carly.

"Uh she is good. Her and Mia are doing great." I say, tip toeing through egg shells.

"I actually called her the other day. I was wondering if she knew of any good Mexican recipes, well because of her heritage-"

"Mom. Really? 'Because of her heritage'" I laugh. My parents have always loved Callie and will continue to. No matter how many times I have told them that it makes Carly uncomfortable.

"Well, anyways she gave me this delicious bean dip. I am positive that that was the best bean dip I have ever had!" Mom continues to talk and I glance over at Carly. She is staring at her food.

"You should come over for dinner at Moms house with Mia. Both of their cooking combined is heaven." Sofia chimes in. Mom and Sofia keep on talking about Callie and I can feel the tension raising. Carly stands up, throws her napkin on the table and walks away.

"What? Did I say something." Mom asks

"No. Well yes but- I'll be right back." I say and walk after Carly. She walks out the front door and heads for the car.

"Carly!! Slow down. Hold on!" I yell after her.

"No! No. I am not going to sit there and listen to how much of a saint Callie is. I'm sick of it. Every time they visit its 'Callie this, Callie that'. I'm the one who is married to you! I am! Not Callie! I am not going to sit there and listen to them praise your ex-wife." Carly yells and unlocks the car. "I'm going home."

"and how do you suppose Sofia and I get home? Huh? You're just going to leave us here?" I yell, frustrated and mad.

"Your parents can take you home. Or maybe you can call Saint Callie to take you home. I don't care." She yells and drives off. I stand there in the parking lot, amazed and baffled by what just happened. I walk back into the restaurant and sit down.

"Is everything ok?" Dad asks.

"Yea. Uh she just needed to go home." I say and try to change the subject. "Did any one else get the steak? It's fantastic."

"Arizona. Why does she do this? Every time Callie is mentioned, she gets angry." Dad says. I put my knife down and look at him.

"Can we not talk about this now? Please?" I ask him.

"I guess. How is everyone's dinner?" Dad asks and we continue dinner.

~~~~~~
Mom and Dad dropped us off after dinner and we made plans to go to the farmers market in the morning.
"Bye. See you tomorrow. Love you!" I yell as I slam the door. Sofia and I head towards the door.
"Momma. Wait" Sofia says and stops in her tracks.
"What is it?" I ask her.
"Why does Carly get like that? All angry as soon as someone says Mom's name"
"Well wouldn't you get mad if someone keep on mentioning your boyfriend or girlfriends ex? Wouldn't that make you jealous?" I ask her.
"I guess but you and Mom weren't just girlfriends. You were married. You have a child together. It's not like you can just forgot her." Sofia says. I cannot believe how grown up this girl is.
"Sof, I don't know. Honestly. If I did, I would tell you. I promise." I say and give her a big hug. "What do you say we go inside and watch Pretty Woman and eat ice cream?" I suggest.
"That sounds amazing." she says. I wrap my arm around her shoulder and she wraps her arm around my waist. "One more thing about Carly." She says. I sigh and turn to her.
"Yes?"
"If Carly doesn't like anything to do with Mom, does that mean she doesn't like me?"
