Callie's POV: Arizona and I doze off for a couple of hours and are woke up by a knocking on the door. I jolt right up and Arizona slides off of me. They knock again and I jump off the bed and hurry over to the door. I open it and I realize that's it's not house keeping.
"Mia? What are you doing here?" I ask and attempt to look like I wasn't just sleeping.
"I uh I'm not sure. I drove past and saw your car and then I came in and asked what room you were in and now I'm uh here and was hoping we could talk. Just for a little bit." She explains and sniffles. She's obviously been crying.
"Uh yea but not in here. It's messy and yea" I try to make it not sound like my ex wife is sleeping on the bed in. Mia kinda peeks around inside the room. The bed is just out of the way that you can't see if anyone is on it. Hopefully she doesn't notice the extra jacket and pair of shoes on the floor. I step out into the hallway with her and cross my arms, waiting for her to start talking. I raise my eyebrows.
"Well I uh don't know where to start." She admits and I scoff.
"How about the part where you've been cheating on me for about- how long? Oh yea. 3 months." I snap at her.
"That's probably a good place to start. Well uh there was a new guy at work and we hit it off. At first it was a friendship but then it turned into something more...." She trails off.
"Guy? Ok first of all, you had SO many chances to stop it over the course of three months and Second, a man?" I ask.
"Callie! You're bisexual too! I wouldn't get mad if you dated a man." She yells.
"That's the thing. I wouldn't date a man while I was still married." I say and she looks at the ground. We are both silent for a while. "You can stay at the house until we settle things. I'll have my lawyer contact you." I say and put my hand on the door to open it, but I forgot to grab a key. My face turns red instantly. I shake the handle a bit and it still doesn't open. I only have one choice. I knock on the door and glance back at Mia. Her eyebrows raise.
"I thought you were alone." She says and the door opens up. Arizona is standing there, messy hair and smeared makeup.
"Uh hi." She says, trying to relieve the awkwardness but it doesn't work.
"Really? You're gonna blame me for cheating but here you are. Sleeping around with your ex-wife. Classy, Callie. Have your lawyer call mine." She says and struts away.
"Wow." I breathe out. I glance up at Arizona and she's smiling. I giggle a bit and so does she. Within five minutes, we are having a full out laugh attack in the middle of the hotel hallway. After we settle down, we fall back into the hotel room and flop down and the bed. Arizona lets out a big sigh and looks over at me.
"Is this our life now? Hiding out in our hotel room?" She asks.
"It is. For now. Once everything settles down, one of us might keep our house and if we don't, we will buy a new one." I say and search for her hand. Once I find it, I lace my fingers into hers and squeeze. I look over at her, locking our eyes. "I love you so much Arizona Robbins."
"I love you too, Calliope Torres" she says. The way she says Calliope makes my heart melt like a piece of chocolate in the summer. "So now what do we do?" She asks. I honestly don't have an answer
"I'm not sure. What do you think?" I ask.
"I think we should go and get some dinner." She says.
"That sounds like a plan." I say and sit up. She sits up next to me. I search for nice clothes and she searches for her shoes. Once we are ready to go, we walk out of the hotel room and down to the elevator, hand and hand. We get to the lobby and walk out to my car. We both hop in and put our seat belts on.
"So where do you want to go?" I ask as I start the car.
"Umm.. Buffalo Wild Wings sounds good right now." She says and licks her lips.
"Oh yes that does sound good." I say and start to drive in the direction of restaurant. We pull in the parking lot and unbuckle. I walk around the car and stand next to Arizona. I grab her hand and smile at her. She smiles back. We both take a deep breathe and head towards the door. We walk in and are greeted with the loud noise of a sports bar. I tell the waitress two people and she takes us to our table. As we both get settled in, I look around the room, just to check out the people. As I get to the corner, my eyes spot a familiar face. An extremely familiar face. I gasps and duck down behind a menu
"What are you doing?" Arizona asks.
"Hiding." I whisper.
"From who?"
"Our daughter."
