Everyone was a mess. I have never seen a more gloom some bunch. It feels like our breath has been sucked out and replaced with an eerie aroma.

It will be one week tomorrow that our other fifth has disappeared. We have no leads, no ideas, and no witness to the mysterious absence of the one and only Niall Horan.

The police have just left us again after another long and pointless question session. We knew whatever we told them could not help find Niall, it was only to keep us busy and try to help us cope with the reality that he might not come back.

Everyone has returned to their usual positions. I walked down our hallway which lead into all of our rooms. Today it seems as though everything in the little flat has been darkened. The lights seem dimmer, the paint has faded, everything has turned into a blur of despair.

Walking into the first room I found the usual circumstance. The once happy go lucky Doncaster boy was sobbing heavily into the youngest boy shoulders. Harry held Louis close and let the boy cry out all his emotions out until no tears were able to flow.

It was a saddening sight to behold. Harry was doing his best to be strong for Lou, but I could tell he was at his breaking point. No man in his right mind could possibly be that strong as to hold his all his feeling and just be there for those who need it. Not when their in the same situation as those they are trying to help.

What about me you may ask? Well yes, as daddy direction I do my best to be strong. I watch over everyone and try to at least get them to drink water so they won't die of dehydration. I know none of us are in the right mood, or state of mind to want to eat.

I am not as strong as I appear. I've been distant and don't talk as much as I once did. I observe everyone's actions, reactions, and emotions. I try over and over again to piece together what might have happened to Niall on that day, but I have again and again been unsuccessful in my attempts.

At night I rarely sleep, instead I cry my heart and soul out in silence so no one can tell that I am just as broken as they are. I am but a person who is now a emotionless zombie that tries to look out for everyone, and help people through this trying time. But how can I help others if I can't even help myself?

I leave the boys and continue my way down the hall to see our Bradford bad boy, who is anything but. Zayn has had the greatest toll taken on him. Yes we all have special relationships with each lad, but Niall and Zayn had something I will never fully understand. They talk late at night if their having any sort of trouble, or if they just need someone to talk to.

True, they do both come to me for most things, but its just something that only the other will understand. Without our leprechaun here, Zayn is lost. He keeps to himself and has not spoken since Niall has gone. He just utters a simple grunt or moan when someone is speaking directly to him just to show that, yes, he is alive, but is in a deep and emotion rollercoaster that has no escape.

I gently open the door and see him in the same spot as always. Laying on his back on his bed scrolling through his IPhone on twitter. He does this everyday. And everyday he gets a little more depressed. I know he is on the edge and I only wish I could make all his pain go away but I can't, only Niall can do this.

You would think that 'directioners' and yes, I did put air quotes around 'directioners' simply because of their behaviour in this manner. We have always gotten hate, and some take it worse then others, but for an unexplainable reason Niall has always gotten the short end of the stick.

They tease him on his looks, how his hair looks like a birds made a nest up there, or how his teeth are so imperfect. Well fuck off, nobody is perfect. But that isn't the worst he's gotten. The worst incidence I can recall is a Twitter account solely dedicated to removing Niall from One Direction. I can remember everything about that unforgettable evening.
