Chapter 28: Shopping Trips

Niall’s P.O.V

“She tried to commit suicide.” Zayn regretfully breathed out.

I let my arms fall to my sides and sat on the ground, not having enough strength to make it to the sofa. My body was trembling, and I was subconsciously rocking back and forth trying to wrap my mind around this concept.

My beautiful girlfriend tried to take her own life… That can’t be accurate. Sure some people are against her right now, but she has me and Louis. We will protect her at all costs. We love her… I love her...

“Y.. You’re lying…” I stuttered. Zayn knelt before me.

“Nialler… I’m not… You have to listen to me… You need to understand why because I believe, along with Perrie, that she might try again.” He explained. I only could shake my head, not wanting to believe his words.

“No… Stop.” I stood up and tried to walk away but Louis grabbed my arm. “LET ME GO!” Tears were streaming down each of our faces.

“Niall you have to listen to him. Do it for Tara, she needs us more than we thought.” Louis reasoned. I sighed and nodded, taking a seat on the sofa.

“Last night when I went to search for Tara’s phone I found her standing on the ledge of her balcony. I talked her down, well talked her through it. She did try and jump but I pulled her back in time.” Pure horror filled mine and Louis’ face.

“She… oh god…” Louis whispered. I remained silent, having no voice to speak.

“She said how much she hates her life. Her heart has been ripped to shreds so many times, she just can’t take anymore. Tara believes that you will come to your senses and leave her. More than anything… she is afraid.” Zayn sighed.

“What is she afraid of?” My voice found itself.

“Honestly, the main thing she is afraid of is Harry.” I closed my eyes and let it sink in.

Tara is afraid of Harry, and I wouldn’t blame her. I bet she lied about last night. She must have ran into him. If I find out what the fuck he said to her I will kill Harry with my bare hands.

“Ni, calm down. She’s okay now.”

“Okay… OKAY?! SHE IS NOT FUCKING OKAY! SHE TRIED TO KILL HERSELF! HOW IN THE HELL DOES THAT MAKE HER OKAY!?” I scream at them.

“Niall you need to calm your ass down so we can figure out what to do.” Louis spoke.

“I… I can’t lose her… She means everything to me…” I whimper. My eyes start to sting and I feel the tears starting to flow. Zayn wraps his arms around me and I cry heavily into his chest.

Tara is the love of my life, and I will not lose her because of Harry. He may not accept are relationship, or the fact that Tara is innocent. But that does not give him the right, in any way, to abuse her to the point where she believes suicide is her best option.
