Chapter 30: Detective

Niall P.O.V

“Thank you so much!” I was so incredibly happy that I was jumping around management’s office.

The lads and I had been called down to discuss with us about our tour starting up again. We were more than happy, but I needed to make sure Tara could come with us. They said it was our lives and we can do whatever we want. Management only controls the career aspect of our lives.

“So Simon, we resume the tour in two days, when are we doing rehearsals and all the stuff like that. We haven’t even spoken to Josh, Sandy, Dan, or John in weeks. I hope they don’t think we’re ignoring them!” Louis said in a panic.

“Don’t worry. We have talked to them and they understand that you were busy and were too consumed with Niall and Tara to think about your careers. Speaking of which, how are you all getting along?” Simon asked.

“We’re sort of split Simon… Niall is obviously in love with her. Louis is a great friend. I just realised what a horrible mistake I made and know she’s innocent now… Unfortunately these two resent her. Harry especially. We have to have separate limos just to make sure he won’t kill her!” Zayn expresses.

“It’s not my fault you all have been brainwashed…” Harry mutters.

“Well as long as you kids know what you’re doing. I support you all.” Simon concludes.

“What are we supposed to do about Ryan? I know he will still go after Tara, she could get hurt or killed!”  I started worrying as I thought about the safety of my girl who sits in the hallway at this moment.

“There still has been no word… But we have a plan if you’ll hear me out without freaking.” I nodded. “If Ryan wants to kidnap her or something, he knows you will not leave her side. Therefore he knows she will be at the concert, hence the perfect place to set a trap!” I look at him like he’s lost his mind.

“And use Tara, my GIRLFRIEND, as bait?! Are you fucking crazy!! Who the hell gi-“

“NIALL CALM DOWN!” Louis laughs at me. “She will have so much security around her and around the building that is he comes within twenty feet of the arena he will be arrested! Isn’t that right Uncle Si?”

“Exactly Louis! What do you say Niall?” I huff. He must be crazy…

“I don’t know… I don’t think I could live with myself if something happened to her…” I felt a hand on my shoulder.

“She will be find Ni.” Zayn comforts. I sigh and nod my head.

“Fine. But if any-“

“It won’t. Now get out of here! Rehearsals starts tomorrow!” Simon clapped.

We stood up and exited the office. I took off down the hall to get to Tara before Harry could see her. He would scare her again and I might do something I regret. I almost lost it when I saw him this morning, I know he has something to do with her suicide attempt.
