My paws made very little noise as I dashed across the snow. Mother had asked me to run the boarder for the rest of the night so my father could spent the night with her. Sofia was running a few feet behind me. Her mate at her side. I scolfed.
Mates. What a stupid idea. Mates made a werewolf weak. If, say, the Blood Pack, got ahold of their mate, then of course there's nothing that mate would not do.
"Paul," Sofia barked, "the sun is close to raising, we should head back." I nodded and dug my claws in. My body reacted instantly, and I felt like I could fly. Sofia was right. The sky was begining to lighten up. The second we reached the city, I split off from them. Nothing bothered me more than mates being all... cuddly.
I ran through the city, and straight into the woods there. And I soon found myself outside the near by town.
Something zipped past the trees somewhere in front of me. I stood up. What was that? I happened again, just closer. I dashed forward, pushing myself at full speed. Our bodies colided. I fell back, and the other wolf smacked into a tree. I slowly stood as I shook my self. The scent of the other wolf hit me, and it was unknown.
Instantly I was growling.
"Who are you?" I demanded. It didn't answer. I raced forward, gripped it's hunches in my teeth, and yanked. A whining sound met my ears. "Answer me!" It shook it's head. "Now, or you lose your life!"
"Please don't kill me!" I took a step back. That voice was female.
"What is your name?" I asked.
