Ally Diamond POV
"Oh, hey Chase." I gulp.
Okay just be calm Ally, it's not like he knows about your stupid dream anyways...Chase just stands there and stares at me with a crooked smile. His eyes trail from my face all the way to my feet and back up again.
"Can I help you with something or are you just here to annoy me?" I snap as I readjust my shoulder bag.
I said be calm, not dig yourself a freakin' grave!
"Ah, so feisty this early in the morning sunshine? I'd say you had a rough night." His lips tug into a smirk and I could see the girls behind him swoon.
"Yes! all thanks to you." I snarl and give him a poke to the chest accusingly.
"Me? How is it my fault?" He crosses his arms and raises his eyebrows up in amusement.
"Because you were in my dream and I couldn't sleep because of it!" I hiss angrily. He stares at me for a few moments, wearing nothing but a blank expression. Suddenly, his lips stretch into a smile and his eyes hold a glint I can't seem to read. Chase's reaction only makes me more angry. He is flattered by this.
"You were dreaming about me, sunshine?" He cooes in a husky manner. I can't help but let out an unattractive snort at this. How big can this boy's head get?
"Unfortunately yes, a nightmare I might add. Nothing to what your peanut size brain is currently thinking" I sneer as I give him my best death glare. Honestly, I do not care if he is the biggest, baddest boy in school or even in town for that matter--he could be Jon Wick/Chuck Norris for all I care ; but if he is a jerk and a dirtbag I will not tolerate it.
"Oooooh that cut me deep sunshine." He said sarcastically as his hand clutches onto his heart.
"Stop calling me Sunshine." I say lowly through gritted teeth. My teeth are so tightly clenched, I fear that my incisors will shatter.
"Why not? Your middle name is Aaleahya, isn't it? Which means sunshine, doesn't it?" He asks giving me with a duh look. His dark hair has been perfectly swept to the side. He brings his fingers to it and ruffles it messily but somehow making it more attractive.
Darn him for being so good looking!
But I still hate him anyways.
Besides, how does he know my middle name? But most importantly, how does he know the meaning of it?
"Y-yeah it is" I stammer. I shake my head, scrunching my face up in confusion. "But how do you know my middle name?"
A mischievous smirk crosses his well-defined face. He tilts his head to the side and observes my face as if he is amused by it. "Of course I'd know the name to my new found enemy, doesn't the saying go: 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer' ?"
"Firstly, creepy much?" I indicate with my index finger and wave it over Chase's figure like a wand. "And secondly if you, my enemy, come any closer to me...I will punch you in the throat." I warn bravely, pushing my shoulders back to look more inferior than I actually am currently feeling. Chase takes a step closer to me, the smell of Honey Oak plus Watermelon gum clouding my nostrils and something else I can't seem to put my finger on, as if challenging me to live up to my words.
I gulp, nervous at the proximity and his daring eyes urging me to just punch him in the throat. Okay yes, once again I was being a big mouth. I think learning when not to speak should be a vital skill I need to work on.
"Well? What are you waiting for? Do it then. Since you're so wise little Miss Sunshine. I dare you." He whispers the last part, the watermelon breath fanning my face again combined with another smell I couldn't seem to pinpoint. His eyes held a glint to them that said: 'Come on I want you to do it' and another that said: 'You would be stupid if you did'
