I woke up in my bed with a stupid smile on my face. Last night I had to leave because my mother was getting kind of suspected. I didn't spent the night there.

I got out of my bed and checked my phone, I got a text from Chris. I swear as soon as I saw his name I felt butterflies all over my stomach. Is this what love feels like?

-Hey, I know you're busy today but can you add me to your to-do-list ;)) WAS THAT TOO BAD IM SORRY LET ME ASK PROPERLY AGAIN, if you're free today, I'd like to take you somewhere give me a call when you wake up. /Chris.

I laughed at his ridiculous text. He's a dork. Adorkable. I decided to call him after I'm done eating because you know, priorities.

After I finished my breakfast, I washed my face and brushed my teeth. I was still in my pajamas and had a messed pony tail. I dialed his number and wait for him to pick up.

"Hey."

"I thought you were never going to call." He said with a relieved tone. I smiled.

"I called you after finishing some stuff. So, what's up?"

"Well, I think we should spend some time together."

"Sounds good to me. What do you have in mind?"

"It's a surprise. I'll come in approximately 15 minutes."

"Okay, see you then."

"I can't wait." He said and hung up. My cheeks blushed, the effect he has on me.

I stood in front of my closet thinking what should I wear. I decided on a pair of jeans, a white shirt and a leather jacket on top. Usually my hair is wavy/curly but I thought straightening it would suit this look more. I didn't did much to my face. Just a lipgloss and a dark eye pencil.

"Where are you going?" Asked Cory.

"Out??" I said with a 'duh'.

"Geez, take a chill pill or something. Teens these days."

"Your only a year older than me." I said to him, he rolled his eyes and went to his room. I went downstairs, my mom wasn't there, I looked around for my dad.

"Meeting up with someone?" He said taking a sip from his coffee.

"Yeah, I'll be back before dinner."

"Who is this guy?" He asked. To be honest I didn't see this coming so as you can imagine i was there staring at him blankly.

"Why would you think that?"

"You've straightened your hair, actually put effort in your clothing and is that an eyeliner I see?"

"Hey, first of all when didn't I cared about my clothing? Offensive." I said jokingly, hoping to distract him from his main question. Yes, smart girl.

"Honey, it's been ages since I see you in something else than jeans and a hoodie. And books to be exact." I laughed.

"It be like that sometimes. So I'm going to go now."

"I'd like to meet him soon. Tell him I say hello." He said continuing to read his book. I nod awkwardly and went outside. I see Chris waiting for me across the street. I sighed with relief and got in his car.

"So where are we going?" I said to him. He also wore jeans and a leather jacket with a blue shirt in it. He also had a dark navy baseball cap on.

"It's a surprise." He said smiling. I realized he checked me out slightly. He started the car and began to drive.
