I wake up irritated by the sunshine, gazing at the clock, I see it's 7:56am. I quietly get on my toes and walk towards the door.
I walk up to my room and change. I felt light, inside and out. Taking my mind off Chris really helped. I check my phone out of habit and see 2 calls from him. A part of me wants to call him back but the other part is not approving. I didn't called him back.
It was awfully raining outside, I was dripping like I've just been thrown into a pool. I dry myself as much as possible and walk into the classroom.
"Hey Kat over here!" Barney waves.
"Oh someone's wet." Barney says with a little dirty smile. At first, I don't understand but then I get it.
"What are you? 15?" I roll my eyes.
"Depends, if i get to call you mommy then yes." He laughs and I smile at his stupidness.
As the class ends we walk to Zoey and Marshall's table with Barney.
"Ughhjjj." Marshall says
"What are you whining about now?" Barney asks sarcastically sitting down.
"I missed Keeping Up With The Kardashians new episode I'm dying." Marshall makes a sad face.
"You're kidding." I don't believe that he's actually watching that.
"Kat, honey, do i look like I'm in the mood for giggles. I am upset." He drinks his soda. Oh well.
"So, Katherine." Zoey smiles.
"Uh yes?"
"I saw that you and Charlie are hanging a little bit too frequently, is there anything going on?" Zoey asks excitedly.
"Back off super nerd, he's mine." Marshall hisses.
"Excuse you, I am not a super nerd." I corrected him.
"Uh you're such a Kourtney." He rolls eyes.
"Well?" Zoey brings the subject back.
"No, not really." I say in all honesty.
"Hmm." Barney types something on his pho- Wait a second THATS MY PHONE?!
"Barney?"
"Yes?"
"Is that my phone?"
"Stinson out." He runs across the cafeteria.
"Oh my god, he sent texts to Charlie." I close my eyes in embarrassment.
"Man stealer." Marshall murmurs.
"Let me see!" Zoey reaches for the phone.
"Oh gosh these are so cringy." Zoey says and starts reading the texts.
