Lila's POV•
Urghhh. Work. Work. Work.
Monday meant I had to face Luke after we left off on a really bad note. I feel so bad for hitting him, I was just a emotional wreck and it was my obvious reaction.Later, Michael and I are going for a 'date' and he said we'd be out a while. I have no idea what he has planned.
I threw on Michael's ATL tee, black jeans and my vans. I done a full face of makeup today to hide the dark bags under my eyes, and I slipped on my vans before rushing out the door.
I walked in the door like the very first day. Luke was stood behind the counter like the first time I met him, except his skin was pale, his eyes were dry and red and his hair messy in all direction. His face wasn't beaming like the first time, it was sad and confused. He didn't even lift his head. He just sat there staring into space.
I'd done this. I'd made him feel this way. My own best friend. What have I done?"L-Luke? Are you- are you okay?" I whispered.
"Mhm." He murmured, still not looking at me.
"Look, about yesterday, I am so sorry I-"
"Save it. I get it, I fucked up, I don't need pity." He spat. Finally looking me in the eye.
"Luke, I'm tired of this! You are my best friend! It shouldn't be like this! we should be able to have cinema dates and get fat with each other. We shouldn't be fighting like this. I'm sorry." I cried.
He looked at me again and his eyes softened.
"Let's sort this out." He simply said.
"Come to mine tonight?"
"Oh... I can't. I- I have a date with M-Michael." I sighed.
"Oh..." Is all he said.
"Tomorrow? 7?"
"Sure!" I beamed.
He walked from round the counter and he never said a word but just hugged me. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and squeezed. I let out the stress which I didn't even know I was holding in, I relaxed.
"I'm so sorry Lila." He said as his voice cracked.
"Hey, hey. It's okay." I pulled away and smiled. Our reunion was ruined by Joe shouting "Get back to work you two!"
"Sorry Joe." I laughed.
"Lila, tills. Luke, shelves. Go." Joe demanded.
"Sure." I groaned and made my way out back.
_______
I was stacking shelves of bread when Joe came round the corner.
"Lila, your free to go now." He said, before turning to walk away.
What?
"Wait Joe? it's only 2:45, I don't leave till 5?" I quizzed.
"You put in a holiday, you can go." He smiled, before dismissing me.
"Oh- okay?"
I went out to the lockers to get my stuff. As I was leaving Luke gave me a puzzled look.
"Hey were are you going?" He asked.
"I don't know? Apparently I got a holiday put in and I'm free to go." I shrugged.
"Okay. See you tomorrow best friend." He smiled, his face lighting up.
I giggled, "Bye."I walked outside, and there leaning against his car was the goofball I've began to fall in love with. He was wearing black jeans, white converse and an AC-DC shirt. God he was hot.
I walked to him.
"Hey? Did you put in that holiday for me?"
"Hello Lila, fuck you look hot in my clothes." He smirked, referring to me wearing his shirt.
I giggled. "Answer me Clifford."
"Yes I did princess."
"Why?"
"We have a very important date." He smiled, pulling me closer to him and kissing my lips.
"Well let's go." I smiled.

Michael's POV•
She has no idea what I have in store for her, and it's going to be the best thing ever for the both of us.I had 2 plane tickets booked one way to Sydney, my home town. My dad wasn't home for 6 months as he's on a business trip, so he's letting us stay there for a few months. I was going to surprise her with this trip and I had no idea how she was going to react.
I've been to Lila's and sorted it with her parents and her sister Lola, and they've sworn they won't tell anyone where we are going.
Especially him. He doesn't need to know, this is time for me and Lila, without any complications."So where are we going baby?" She asked me, her bright, innocent eyes pouring into mine. God I love her.
"Just for lunch, then the cinema." I lied, smirking to myself.
"Cool, I'm so excited mikey." She beamed, her pearly whites showing. In the back, under blankets, I had 2 cases packet with our stuff. Lola helped me pack for Lila. I think she's going to miss her a lot, but we'd be back in a few months.
We drove past the cinema and she looked at me curiously.
"Michael? You took the wrong turn?" She said pointing behind her and turning in her seat looking back at the cinema.
"Yeah I know, we- we aren't going to that cinema, we're going to a different one just outside of London." I smiled.
"Oh, okay." She said, her cute accent coming through thick. We drove for around 30 minutes after that, and there were signs for Heathrow on nearly every direction sign and Lila still didn't click on that we were going to the airport.
"Seriously Michael. Where are we going?" She said, sternly.
"Wait baby. We're nearly here." I reassured her, before taking the last turn towards the airport.
"Wait? Michael are you... ARE YOU TAKING ME TO THE AIRPORT?!" She squealed, clapping her hands together excitedly.
I laughed at her, seeing that I'd made her happy.
"Maybe, maybe not." I smirked, turning into the airport car park.
"YOU ARE OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! Where are we going!!" She squealed.
"Well, you'll just have to wait and see."
"Oh no! I can't wait!" She beamed.I pulled our cases from my hiding place, gave her, her blue case and I got my black one.
"Follow me Miss Jacobs." I said, grabbing her hand.
