Chapter 18

Lila's POV•
Michael grabbed my hand and walked me over to the rotating doors at the entrance of the airport.

When we entered the place was hectic, there as an array of travellers rushing and shoving.

Michael took me over to a check in desk where 3 different flight bookings could be authorised. A plane flying to New York, one to Sydney and one to Paris. All 3 locations sounded amazing.
I presumed Michael would be taking me on a romantic weekend break to Paris just to get away, and overall I couldn't be happier. I can't believe he'd done this for me, Lila Jacobs, the girl (who 5 months ago) had no friends or no social life at all. Things couldn't have been better.

We stood in the line behind a small family, queuing for around 45 minutes which was fairly quick.

We were greeted by a warm faced woman, with her hair in a perfect beehive and her lips lined perfectly with red, crimson lipstick. Her name seemed to be "Emilia".

"Hello, how are you today. Boarding passes please." She smiled, holding her hand out for the passes.
Michael handed them to her trying his best not to show me the secret location.
"Don't say where we are going, I'm surprising her." Michael said to Emilia, before looking at me and smiling with the biggest grin ever.
"Well, all I can say is that your a very lucky girl." She giggled scanning the passes through her computer.
"Well, I gotta show her how much she means to me." Michael smiled, wrapping his arms around my shoulders and placing a soft kiss on my forehead.
"I'm sure she'll love you after this. Please put your baggage on the conveyer and then your ready to go." She smiled.
Michael lifted out cases onto the conveyer and then they disappeared through the small door opening.
"Thank you. Your flight is at 4:25pm, gate 23. You have around 2 hours before you need to be at your gate. Have a safe journey and darling, have a great trip. Your a lucky girl." She said enthusiastically. handing us out passports back.

I was so curious to finding out where Michael was taking me, I couldn't wait to find out.

We went through security and customs and now it was just a waiting game. God this was the most nerve wracking, overwhelming and exciting thing that has ever happened to me, and I was doing it with the boy I loved.

It was 4:25pm, Michael and I went to our flight gate.
"Here." He said, blindfolding me.
"Michael... What are you doing?" I said laughing.
"You can't find out yet! You need to wait until the captain announces it on the plane. I wanna see your reaction." He laughed.
"Oh okay, but I can't see."
"Just hold my hand. I'll show you the way, because we are running and were not looking back." He kissed my lips, grabbed my hand and guided me to our flight gate.

"Boarding passes please." said the air hostess.
I couldn't see what was happening, I was totally clueless to the whole situation.
"Oh nice, you'll have a great time! Seats 34 and 35. Have a safe trip." Said the mysterious voice.

Michael guided me along the plane terminal and into the plane door where an air hostess showed us our seats.
I was sat in a plane chair and then my blindfold was taken off. I was still totally clueless in where we were travelling to.

We seemed to be in first class, the plane was very large and we had small beds and a small tv. This meant we were travelling to a place far away, which left NY and Sydney. I couldn't contain my excitement.

I started squirming and fidgeting in my chair, nerves taking over.
"What are you doing? Sit still baby girl." Michael said, placing his inked hand on my leg, calming my nerves.
"I really want to find out where we're going mike, do my parents know? Does lola?" I asked, all these questions running through my head.
"Calm down. You'll find out soon. Everything is taken care of beautiful, don't worry." He soothed.

Michaels POV•
"Good afternoon ladies and gentleman. The plane will be setting off in around 5 minutes, please fasten your seatbelt, turn off all electronic devices for take off . I hope your flight with us is comfortable and worth it! Let's have a great journey. Sydney bound." Said the captain through the microphone.

I looked to the side to see Lila, her mouth wide. She was speechless. She turned to face me and she covered her mouth with her hand before squealing "MICHAEL! FREAKING SYDNEY!" She screamed, clapping her hands together.
She threw her arms around my neck before squeezing tight.
She murmured into my shoulder "thank you so much Mike. I love you so so much."
"Your worth it baby."

She pulled away, tears in her eyes.
"Woah what's wrong baby?" I asked, concerned.
"Are you having second thoughts?"
She shook her head enthusiastically,
"No of course not! I just can't believe anyone would do this for me." She laughed, wiping away her tears.

"We're taking off now. Please ensure your seatbelt are fastened and please have a safe journey. We are Sydney bound!" Beamed the captain.

And that was it, I was taking the girl of my dreams away to her dream, in a little town in Sydney.

Guys I'm so sorry, this chapter is so shitty! It's just a filler because they need to get to Sydney for shit to go down. Okay? Okay.
