Chapter 15: Blood Promise

In matter of seconds, I push the astonished Kalona off me, slamming him into the wall, hard. My disguise disappears and I automatically turn back into me. Kalona gets up to attack me but I surround him by flames, "I'm sorry but there was no other way" I say as I dash out the door as he screams in pain for help, to stop me. I don't listen and quickly compel a human who was in charge of Justin's room to move aside. 

I throw open the door and see Justin, limp body bleeding on the floor. "Oh my god Justin" I kneel onto a pool of blood, I then pick him on into my arms. "This is for you" I say as I quickly smash the crescent onto his chest. It breaks on him, I see his spirit go into his body. I think close my eyes and charm my blood, making me light headed. I then bite my wrist and shove my bleeding wrist into his mouth for him to drink. 

"Come on please wake up" I whisper as I grow weaker with each gulp of blood. Soon I feel his lips sucking harder on my bleeding wrist. His eyes flash open, warmth spread all over his hazel eyes. They were no longer empty, and that made me smile. I kiss his forehead. He pulls away from my wrist, smiles, "you came back for me?","yes did you ever doubt it?" I ask gently, I brush his hair away from his head. He shakes his head, "no but you were running out of time". 

I nod, "I knew that but here I am" I lean on and kiss his bloody lips. The kiss is bitter sweet, so deep and warm and gentle which makes me sway and my heart race. Every nerve of my blood lights up. I pull away and smile, he smiles, then frowns, "BLOOM WATCH OUT!!!" he runs off my lap so I can move but it's too late. Behind me Kalona had already pierced my heart with a black sword. I cry in pain, and feel him tug my heart out, my spirit out of my body. I scream even louder. 

Justin is on him in a matter of seconds but it's too late. There's too much blood and my soul was no longer attached to my body. Kalona laughs as he shows Justin another crescent, "I got what you want anyways" and all of a sudden he disappears. As soon as he flashes, I fall on the ground, I'm gone.....

🚹*POV: Justin*

I fall on my knees, wiping my bleary eyes. Tears were falling, stupid tears. I pull Bloom'a lifeless body on my lap I cry out, "Bloom! Bloom wake up!!! Please I love you I need you you promised to stay!" I shouted over and over but there was no use, she was gone. I bring her body on to mine and hug her empty body. "Bloom Bloom" I repeated over and over. I then laid her on her back and untied her golden heart locket.

She saved me, after everything she saved me. And I lost her. I kissed the necklace and fastened it on her neck, "Bloom you promised to come back" I say more desperately. I kiss her lifeless lips, while once they had be so soft and gentle and full of life. I start to pick up her body to take her out when I notice her stir. "Bloom??!!" my eyes widen, has she survived the impossible odds? I kiss her forehead as she stirs more.
