Chapter 7: Up All Night

I rush down the steps to where Justin's cell is at. I slowly walk towards it, drop my backpack to the floor, he looks up from the noise. He smiles, a smile that held no soul, yet full of gentleness. "Hey" he says sitting up, "hi, have they fed you? You look horrible" i lean in, and reach in to him, my hand through the bars. He grabs it and holds it in his hands and comes closer.

He looks horrible. His eyes look dark and zombie like. He had bags under. He looks weak. "Oh my god what have they done to you? Your soooo weak" I whisper. He shrugs, "they have no reason to care, I think they wanted to let me die here", "no" I shake my head, "I won't let them","why even bother? I'm soulless, you might as well be with Eddie", "you've been spying" I whisper, he nods, "there's nothing to do and your my way out mentally" he shrugs.

That for some reason makes me smile but then saddens. "You won't last long without blood" I bite my lip. He shrugs, "I'm ok", I shake my head and get up. He sees me, "are you leaving?" I look down at him, "no i'll be right back ok?" he nods. There's something in him that reminds me of himself, his soul. I go to the guardian, Alan, who's on top of the steps. "Give me the key to Justin","what?!", I look him right in the eyes, "give me the key to his cell" his gaze turns dreamy and hands it over with no resistance, my compulsion works perfectly.

I return to his cell, and open it. He arches his eyebrows, "your getting me out?" I shake my head as I enter and lock the cell. "No I can't do that until I'm certain about how imma get your soul back" he nods. "Then why?","I'm going to give you blood", "what? Your blood? No don't" he says pushing me away. I come closer, "you need it, you won't last","no I won't be able stop drinking Bloom, and I won't regret it I have no conscience or soul" he warns.

I shake my head, "don't worry I'll stop you", he shakes his head, "I'll kill you Bloom, your blood......is irresistible" he says eyes wide with what looks like fear. "Don't worry, only a little to fix your thirst I know it burns" he comes closer. I move my head out of the way he can drink from my neck. This is dangerous. But I don't care, the endorphins will take over and I'll make sure to stop him if he drinks to much.

He comes, pulls me into his arms as if to cradle me, and brings his lips towards my neck. I don't feel like myself ever since I had brought back Justin. Seeing him here, and not being able to touch he or kiss him hurts. He kisses my neck first testing the vein. I smile, "don't hesitate" he nods and leans in, kisses it one more time then bites. I flinch and cringe until the endorphins kick in, but not only that I'm addicted to his bites, their sweet bliss and makes everything right in the world. Everything is perfect in a sweet haze.

Am I hurting you? He thinks in his mind, I shake my head as I groan in pleasure. It feels like a drug, an addiction needed to be taken care of. I close my eyes, I starting to feel light-headed, he's drinking too much. But I don't say a word, it feels soo good. But I think he saw it too, how droopy my eyes became. He pulls away quickly and licks the dripping blood from his bite marks in my neck. I had a goofy smile in my lips.

"Are you ok?" he asked, not exactly worried but more amused. "Uh huh" I manage. He strokes my hair, "you need to go, you'll get in trouble if you stay any longer, I'm fine now" he whispers into my ear, I nod but I can't sit up at all. I'm drugged but his intoxicating bite. He helps me stand up, but I think it was obvious I can't stand on my own. I leaned against the wall, using it for support, he covers the bite with my hair. "Be careful ok?" he closes his cell, "uh huh" I repeat with the stupid goofy smile on my lips.

I walked against the wall all the way to the dorm building, I couldn't make it any further. I sag against the wall and slide down, smiling. I close my eyes and pass out.....

I wake up in the nurse's office, my head feels weird, weak. I try to sit up but fail. "No stay laying down" Dimitri says. "What am I doing here?","I found you passed out along the dorms", "oh" I blush pink remembering the bite I had received from Justin. I feel my neck, a bandage was there. "Don't worry she couldn't tell what made it" he said, I sigh with relief. "Who did bite you Bloom?" he asked softly, I turn my head towards him, "Justin", "you shouldn't see him, he's dangerous" I shake my head and turn away.

"I'm serious, and if your planning to save his soul you need to keep yourself strong" he replies. "I know but he needed it Dimitri, he was weak, he still is","I'll make sure to tell the guardians to send him to a feeder but don't do it again ok Bloom?" I just turn away, "ok". After I had enough strength to at least stand, Dimitri walked me to my dorm, "you need sleep, and relax, rest" I nod sleepy.

After he leaves, the sun sets and I take a quick shower. I put on my white strap tank top I like to sleep in and my fluffy purple fuzzy pj pants. I undo my bed, but then hear a knock on the door. I cover the bite(I took off the bandage while I took a shower) with my hair and open the door. It's Lissa, she had a long sleeve with fuzzy blue pj pants, in her hand a bottle of Vodka. I let her in, she looks drunk already.

"It's spirit" she says, taking a pull from the bottle and hands it to me. I take a longer pull than she did. "We need to talk, let some secrets out" I nod to that as I take other long drink, so much for sleep. "So tomorrow we'll go shopping and Friday dance?" I nod drinking more, I hand it to her to drink too. "Yup, but I don't think it's a good idea for me to go with Eddie" I take the bottle for another drink after her, it started to affect my brain.

"He adores you" she points out, I flip my hair, "yeah but I don't like him that way" I drink more. "What's that?" she points to my bite marks. "Ooohhhh those Justin.....mmm" I chug more. "Justin did that? And you let him?" I nod and drink more. "You most love him" I nod, "yes with all my heart","have you had sex with him","hell yeah!" I laugh at it and drink more. "Have you and Christian?" I ask, she nods with a shy smile, "yes we have, but only once","hmmmm" I finish the bottle.

"We should sleep" she yawns. I pat a spot next to me, "sleep here" she smiles, "ok". We lay there talking a bit more drunkingly, more secrets told here and there. And after a while we fall asleep.
