Chapter 13: On the Way

The next day, I was nervous all day. It was Sunday, and tonight at midnight, Justin will pretend he has trapped me and brought Aya out into me. Tonight I will bring Justin back into his body. All day, my body shook, which is rare for vampires. When the sun started to set, I dressed a white lace summer dress, spaghetti strapped and knee long. I put in black flats and straighten my hair, turn it dirty blonde. I let Aya take hold of my features and I take deep breaths.

I hear a knock on the door, I open it. It's Dimitri, and he notices the changes in me too, "we need to go get Justin" I nod, "lets go". We head to the cells, Dimitri asks for the key, and the guardians grateful hand them to him. I rush to Justin's door and open it and throw my arms around him. He looks surprised and hesitates. Then raps his arms around me, Dimitri smiles slyly, "come on you time to go" I pull away, blushing, "sorry". "It's ok" he smiles a sad smile, he takes me hand, I watch my necklace gleam with the light, he pulls me towards the door.

I smile as I see outside, Adrian, Christian, and Eddie were waiting outside. Beside them was Lissa, who looked very worried, she had wanted to go but we didn't want to put her in any danger. She throws her arms around me, "be carful ok? Come back in one piece" she says to me then she turns to him, "you take care her got it?" he nods seriously, "I will" Eddie looks doubtful but says nothing.

The guardians open the gate for us when they see Dimitri. Soon we are walking into the woods, with every step my heart pounding harder than ever. When Justin noticed that, he reached for my hand. I let him take it and squeeze it tightly. Soon it was dark, so dark I almost tripped once. Soon we saw some glowing flashlights, Edward, Emmett, Jasper, Stefan, Damon, Esme, Rosalie, Elena, Fernando, Alice and Zoey. Everyone. Including Danny and Daisy.

Danny ran into my arms, "momma!" he whispered happily. I kiss his forehead, "yes I'm here and I'll be right back soon","promise momma?" I nod and hug him tightly, "yes I promise". He then turns to Justin, "daddy!" he rushes into Justin's hesitant arms. "Daddy" he whispered, "here back ok?" he nods unsure of what else to say. Soon, we are all positioned around the abandoned complex.

Dimitri handcuffs me and hands me over to Justin. "Take care of Bloom" Justin nods, "I will". Dimitri nods and lets Justin take a hold on my arms, I put my head down as we head towards the door of complex. I try not to shiver, I can already feel the darkness of the place. He opens the door and shoves me through, "move it!" he yells harshly, but it's part of the act. He shoves me hard and I end up on my knees on the floor, in tears. It's all an act. But instead of luring Kalona out at once, a pack of strigoi appear.
