Chapter 5: Reminded

🚹*POV: Me*

I throw a fireball at the black spirit in Justin's cell. It cried in agony, and disappeared along with the telegramed Kalona. I stared at Justin after who looked weak, of blood loss. "Can you unchain him? Just chain him from his foot so he can lie down?" I ask the guardians. They nod and untie the weak Justin down, he is dropped on the floor on his knees, head down.

They tie his foot with a chain, "five minutes and no less go it?!" I nod to the guardians. After they leave Justin lifts his head, "how did you know I was I danger?" his brown eye meet my blue ones. I sigh, I drop him onto to my lap, he lets me bring him onto my lap. "We're bonded, I just well blocked your side to our bond, but I didn't block you off. I felt darkness, and I went blind for a while in the shower" I point to my wet hair I had just tied into a pony tail.

He looks up to my face, "I had a flashback" I look down to his face, "you did of what?" I ask, he looks away from my eyes, he had this gentle look that reminded me of who he is. "Of us, of we...." his voice trails off, not wanting to finish the sentence. I look at the wall, feeling myself blush. "Oh" I murmur. He nods not saying anything else. "Kalona has the moon crescent on him, he's wearing my soul on his chest" he remarks, I groan, "ugh he would wear it, that ugh" I say disgusted.

How dare him wear his soul in a necklace like that! "So I don't know how but you need to get it back....and I'm willing to help you out" I stare at him again. "A day ago you tried to kill me or kidnap me and now you want to help me?" I shake my head. He stays silent for a few seconds, "I apologize for that, but I feel empty, I'm a zombie body, I don't remember anything about you until I see you...I want those memories back.....I'm sorry" he sits up, looks into my eyes.

And there, I can see the real Justin there. The one I love. He brings my face closer to his and leans in to place his lips on me, a soft brush not a kiss. Then Anthony calls me out. "Come on you need to get back" Justin sits up, pulling away from me. "You better go before you get in trouble" I nod getting up. "Remember count me in on your plan, I'm in it no matter what Bloom" I nod but I can't seem to turn and face him. But before I go, I take off my golden heart locket and throw it into his hands.

"This should help you remember, next time I see you will be to set you free" he nods looking at the locket. I leave following Anthony out of the cells.

🚹*POV: Justin*

I trace Bloom's name that is written on the front part of the heart locket. It had her name in cursive with Salvatore on the bottom of Bloom. Bloom Salvatore. I open it, inside was a crystallized picture, two of them, of us, me and Bloom. One was her, in a wedding dress with me beside her wearing a suit and tie. We both smiling into the camera. The other was a picture of us kissing. I look down onto the ring finger and notice a wedding band on it.

I can't help but smile at it. I hold up the locket seeing how it sparkled. And in the crystallized picture was a message: I will always love you, Bloom, forever and always. I looked into her smiling face in the picture, how full of life she looked. I think back to when I had tried to kidnap her and how her eyes held so much pain and sadness.

I smiled as I payed the cashier for improving the heart locket that belonged to Bloom. "Does it have the message I wanted in it?" I asked as I open the box, seeing how it glimmered in the light. The lady nods, "yes yes you can check yourself it has everything except its missing a picture","oh ya i'll bring it after the wedding" I say covering my face with my baseball cap.

"Well have a good wedding congrats" she smiles as she hands me also the wedding diamond ring I had bought as well for Bloom, I smile at it too. "Thank you" I smile at her and leave, happy with myself. I put it in a secret place in the car, so Bloom wouldn't see it, and I make sure not to think of it in my mind. I then return to the mall, to meet up with Bloom.
