My Boyfriend's(?) Roommate

Chapter 1: Meeting boyfriend(?)

"Just wait here I'll be right back"

"Wait! Zoe! You can't just leave me here by myself!"

"Don't worry! You'll be fine!" She gave me a pat on the back as to reassure me. "I really need to go find my brother, he's so late! I think he's lost."

Reluctantly I let Zoe go and sat down at a table with my cranberry juice to hand. With all the alone time I had some time to think annoy the situation. I was in a nightclub by myself. I had basically been thrown into the wild by my best friend! The traitor. Ugh I just had to do my best to stay out of trouble and wait for Zoe to get back. The traitor. As I told myself that in my head a voice brought me back to reality.

"Hey, is your name as pretty as your face?"

I started to giggle. It was lame, but I had never been asked before so it worked on me.

"Haha no, but thank you anyway."

"Why don't you let me be the judge of that?"

"Well in that case I'm {your name}"

"Well that's a cute name, but now that I think about it, nothing can compare to how pretty you are. "

I would have fallen over, had the chair sofa not been supporting me. The cute guy called me pretty!

"Well prince charming, do you have a name too?"

Woah! Where did that come from? A confident guy comes along and suddenly, you can flirt? You just gave a stranger a nickname!

Maybe that's all I needed to solve my guy problems. A cute guy in my life. Ha! What do you know? Zoe was right!

He smirked at my attempt to flirt "Joseph, but you can call me Joe pretty lady. So how about I get you a drink and in return you give me your number?"

"Sounds good to me." I took the napkin out from under my glass and dug around my purse until I found a pen. Then wrote down my number and handed it to Joe. "Here, now how about that drink?"

"Just wait here I'll be right back."

That's the second time I've heard that today. Maybe another hot guy will turn up after this! I started to picture a Harry styles coming through the door, and me fainting. Oh god, I'm such a dork, even in my head.

"Hi, is this seat taken? My name's Caspar."
