Marco's POV

I was lying on my bed, it was almost 1 in the morning and even though I went to sleep earlier, I woke up, and I couldn't go back to sleep. I just found out the Jackie and Oskar are going to the dance together... and that Star likes me. First of all, why didn't Star just tell me when she found out that Jackie and Oskar were going? If she told me there, she would have been able to comfort me now. I still missed Star so much, so I looked in the spell book. I want the old Star back, the real Star back. I want the Star who loves me not because I accidentally made her love me. I know that she'll be able to help me get through all of this, because she actually cares about me. Tears started to fall from my eyes. I've been such a stupid idiot for the past few weeks. Why does Star even like me? Im such a jerk, and... Wait, I found the page in the spell book, now stained with my tears, of how I can get Star back. "Um..." I said aloud skimming through the gigantic page. "Here. The way to cure a love spell is for the one under the spell to kiss the caster. Then they will no longer be in a trance." I closed the book, wide eyed. I'd have to KISS Star?! I love Star, but as a friend... My best friend. I had to do this for her. After all she was worth it. I mean, come on it's Star Butterfly. Her name matches her bubbly personality, how her joy is contagious. It suited her beautiful long blonde hair. After about a week of living with us, she taught me how to braid hair, and ever since then I loved braiding hers, because I enjoyed the feeling of her silky mane flowing through my fingers. Her beautiful sky blue eyes. I never realized how breathtaking they were until one day she challenged me in a staring contest. We stared into each others eyes, and I noticed how they glimmered as they reflected the light in my room, and how they matched her light and beautiful personality perfectly. My favorite thing about her is the rosy pink hearts on her cheeks. They're so simple, yet they complete her perfect face. They are just right there, and you just want to... kiss them.
