My Prisoner

Aftermath

Peridot sat in her chair, wide eyed as the ship approached Earth. She felt a little bad about what she had done to Lapis but...she seemed to not mind...at the end at least. She had helped her up afterwards, and gave her a comforting hug. Peridot shifted uneasily, before finally getting up. "Where are you going?? We're almost to Earth!" Jasper snarled. Peridot rubbed the back of her head and turned to look at Jasper. "I'm...checking on my prisoner..." Jasper frowned. "Why? Just leave her there. Also, don't think you're hot stuff just because Yellow Diamond let you have your own-" A beeping sound was heard as a screen was indicating that they would be landing soon. "Look, I gotta go check on her. I'll be right back." She murmured walking off.

Peridot found her cell and stood outside the field looking inside. "Lapis..." The blue gem was laying down, with her back towards the hall. Peridot looked down worriedly. "Please talk to me." Lapis still didn't respond. "I...what's wrong?" Lapis finally got up and looked at Peridot in disbelief. "What's wrong? Are you SERIOUS???" Peridot gave a sarcastic look. "Oh...that, come on I didn't hurt you. And besides, you know it felt good, don't lie." Lapis knelt down and crossed her arms over herself, getting teary eyed. "Lapis...? It did didn't it?" She kept her head to the side. "Well?"

"I...yes..." she murmured as quietly as possible, feeling ashamed. "Wh-Why are you here?" she asked, finally looking up at Peridot. Peridot opened her mouth to reply but she honestly didn't have a answer. "I wanted to...see how you were doing..." She whispered and let down the force screen. She knelt down in front of Lapis. "Don't cry anymore...please?" Peridot told her, holding her face. Lapis still let some tears fall from her eyes as she looked away. "We're almost to Earth." Peridot told her, getting up and closing her cell. "Just hang in there, I'm hoping to maybe get you out of that cell."

Peridot made her way to the edge of the ship and looked down at the other gems. "That's them alright." She told Jasper. "They're the ones who keep breaking my machines." Jasper scowled. "This is it?" Peridot was getting flustered. "Jasper! They keep interfering with my work!" Jasper stepped up and looked down at the gems. "Looks like another waste of my time." She murmured. What happened next made Peridot freeze up. "Hey, get over here!" Jasper snarled and grabbed Lapis by the arm. 'What the fuck' Peridot thought to herself, and then glared angrily over at her. 'What is she doing grabbing my prisoner like that?' Peridot was slightly in an angry state not really focusing on what Jasper was blabbing on about.

"What is that?" Jasper asked pointing to the 'Steven'. "It calls itself 'the Steven'" Peridot said, looking at her. "He's just a human!" Lapis cried, "He's isn't a threat at all, he's not one of them!" Jasper scowled. "I know what a human is. You don't need me for this, just blast them with the ship." Peridot rolled her eyes. "Fine..." She murmured getting out her screen. The crystal gems seemed to be shouting at each other but Peridot wasn't listening. "Firing." She confirmed as the ships laser lit up. It blasted, but the Steven was able to block the blast with a large pink shield. Jasper was shocked by this.

"NOW do you believe I needed an escort??" Peridot yelled at her. Jasper ordered her to fire abroad, which she did, just barely missing the two other gems. She groaned and spaced out until she heard Lapis yell "Don't hurt him!" She was surprised. Why did she care about the Steven? She then heard Jasper say "Forget about the mission!" Peridot was stunned. "WHAT?" she shouted, and she noticed Lapis look over at her. "Yellow Diamond needs to see this...thing..." Both Peridot and Lapis looked up in fear.

The large gem suddenly came up out of the sandand Peridot looked over at Lapis in concern. She wanted to get her back insidethe ship, but Peridot stepped back in fear as Jasper took out a gemdestabilizer. That destabilizer was used on her once before by Yellow Diamond...Jasper struck the tall gem and she fell to pieces. Peridot quickly got Lapisback on the ship since the other ones were charging at them. She helped Lapisinside and went to shoot down the two other gems...
