Peridot sighed as she looked out the window of the ship, waiting for the night to pass. It wouldn't be until tomorrow until they finally got back to home world. She crossed her fingers and decided to walk back down the hallway and to Lapis' cell. Her cell no longer had a force field blocking it but Lapis still sat there. Peridot bit her lip. "Come out. Please?" Lapis glanced up. "I don't know where I'd go..." Peridot approached her and held out her arm. "You can stay with me."
Lapis hesitated, but actually took Peridot's fingers and got up. Peridot slightly blushed, but turned her head so Lapis couldn't see. Her hand was...soft. Peridot felt outcast by her prosthetics, but turned to look at her. "Lapis..." she said softly making the blue gem look at her. "What...you want me in the cell? Let's get it over with"
Peridot froze and blushed. "N-No, I was going to take you to the main room." She told her. "Umm, show you space, while we wait to get back home." Lapis shook her head. "That's not my home." Peridot frowned but then had a hopeful idea. "Soo...is Earth you home? I'll be going back." Lapis folded her arms. "That's not my home either...I don't have a home anymore..." Peridot felt sorry for her. "Right now my only home is that cell." She bit her lip as Lapis walked back in and sat down. Peridot starred at her. She was super beautiful and she wanted to help her. But she didn't know what to say, so she just gave a weak smile, said goodbye and left.

The ship finally arrived on home world later in the afternoon. Peridot walked outside with Lapis beside her while Jasper handled the prisoners. Leading the way to the council room Peridot then bowed before Yellow Diamond who was in her throne. Lapis looked up sadly as Jasper came in with the prisoners. "Wh-What are you doing??" Pearl shouted, in her handcuffs. "Y-Yeah, let us go! Wh-Where's Ruby and Sapphire?" Amethyst shook in fear as she looked up at the diamond ruler. Yellow Diamond raised her hand to silence everyone. "Unfortunately, the Sapphire gem was shattered."
"N-No..." Pearl whispered stepping backwards. "G-Garnett!" Amethyst wailed and started to cry. The Steven looked on in confusion and worry. "Wh-Where is she?" he asked his voice cracking from fear. "S-She's dead...we'll never see her again...you fucking cowards!" Amethyst shouted at Jasper and Peridot. The general frowned. "I didn't wish to kill her, but this brute..." she raised her arm slightly towards Jasper.
"Enough!" Yellow Diamond spoke. Amethyst however, somehow managed to wiggle her way out of her cuffs. "Pearl! Run!" She screamed as she summoned her whip, slashing Jasper. The other crystal gem stood there in fear but ran as Amethyst headed towards the door. "Stop! Jasper, get them!" Yellow Diamond bellowed. "You guys!" Steven yelled.
"Steven we'll try to get you! I-I'm sorry!" Amethyst shouted as she ran away from Jasper. Yellow Diamond sighed. Steven shook in pure terror as the diamond looked down at him. "Wh-What are you going to do with me?" She frowned. "I don't know...Peridot, what are your updates?" she asked turning to her.
Peridot put her arm around Lapis. "This one is now my informant. Is that alright?" Tears spilled from Lapis' eyes and Yellow Diamond smiled. "Well, alright. I am sending Lapis to our housing centers, so she has a place to stay with other gems." Lapis eyes widened when she heard this. "N-No..." she said looking down. Peridot was angry but didn't show it. She didn't want Lapis to be a normal citizen, she wanted her to stay with her. "I-Can I make one last request..?" Lapis spoke up suddenly. Yellow Diamond raised an eyebrow. "T-To my guard...general now..." Peridot looked at Lapis surprised. "Yes, but ask her at her base. I don't really care."she said waving her arm. Peridot took her Lapis' arm as she walked outside, leaving the Steven to be placed in a holding cell.
Peridot went back to her home base, which had two stories and no windows. There were a few gem shards scattered on tables in the main room along with a couch. Lapis looked around worriedly, holding her arm, a bit nervous being completely alone with her rapist. "Sit down Lapis." Peridot told her in her kindest voice possible. Lapis did so and looked around. She felt...strangely cozy in Peridot's home. The lack of windows made her feel isolated. "Lapis...what did you want to ask me...?" Peridot asked walking close by her. Lapis didn't reply. She didn't have anything to ask her, she just said that to buy herself time. She didn't want to go live with other gems. She thought she was even better off staying the mirror-
"What's wrong?" The general asked her wiping her cheek. Lapis didn't even realize she had been crying. Peridot bit her lip and looked up her stairs where her robinoids were working on something for Lapis. She saw that she liked to lie down a lot, so she was building a bed in her upper room. Lapis hugged her knees to her chest wanting comfort. She looked up at the general gem and had an odd mix of feelings. "I..." Peridot tilted her head. "What? Ask me for anything Lapis. You can stay here for the night, or until Yellow Diamond wants to see you." Peridot didn't want Yellow Diamond to call for her. She hoped she would forget so Lapis could just stay with her. "Um...I..." Lapis whispered quietly twirling her hair nervously. She looked up at Peridot in her suit and noticed her broad shoulders. Peridot smiled sweetly and actually looked...kind. Lapis doesn't know why she asks but she does. "You can...I guess...rape me again?" She wanted something, anything, to relax her. She still hesitates as Peridot gives her answer.
