Dani's POV:

"Something just doesn't seem right though, I'm not very good at math. I don't understand why they would choose me." I said, sitting down on the seat next to the lunch table.

"Well, maybe you're better than you think...?" Jane suggested.

"No, I don't think so. Something's going on here." Megan stated.

"But who knows what's going on?" I whispered, trying to make sure that no one would hear because people started staring at us. "For all we know, they think we could have committed a crime."

"Maybe we have...?" Jane asked herself. Megan and I glared at Jane, hoping she would come up with something logical.

"Well, are we just going to sit here or go find out what?" Megan asked, standing up and putting one hand on her hip.

"Where should we start?" Jane whispered, grabbing her cell phone off the table.

"Mr. Monroe's office." I said and pulled both girls along to Mr. Monroe's office.
