Trying To Understand

Ze's POV

"I'm just admiring the view. I can stop then if it's too creepy..."

My eyes open wide as I hear Adam's voice. I roll my head over to the voice to see Adam and Chilled facing each other.

"No, don't do that. If it makes you feel better then you can stare at me all the time." Chilled whispers.

The begin giggling which makes me roll my eyes. At least Chilled got his happy ever after...

"I feel like this is a dream, Adam. I don't want to wake up if it is."

I feel a tap on my shoulder which can only be one person. Max. I turn over and face him and he's mouthing along the words to what Adam and Chilled are saying. I chuckle softly but he brings his finger up to his mouth and begins to shoosh me.

"What is it with you and thinking you're in a dream when something nice happens to you?" Adam softly replies to Chilled.

"See, not a dream."

"Ouch!" Chilled cries out. "I'll get you back for that..."

They better shut up soon, all this flirting with each other is awkward as. I should just take Chilled's room. No I'm gonna say something now... I can't deal with them being cutesy as hell.

"If you two don't shut up with your cutesy talk then I'm taking your room Chilled." I sit up.

Chilled sits up and looks over to me with a embarrassed face. I see Max sit up next to me and fold his arms.

"Yeah, come on guys. Be all cute when we leave tomorrow... Actually let's go Ze, we'll take the bedroom. Give your guests a proper bed..."

I grab my phone on the way up and shine the light towards Chilled, he was pulling a smirk at me and Max.

"No funny business in my bed then." Chilled says to us.

"Ha ha, so funny Chilled..." Max replies.

Max stands up and he gives out his hand for me to grab. I take it instantly and he helps pull me up. I look back over at Chilled and he's still smirking at us, I squint my eyes at him while I head towards his bedroom with Max. Once we get in his room I shut the door and make myself at home by going into Chilled's drawer and take a spare pair of his pj's. I turn to see Max turned away from me but taking his shirt off, I pause my steps. I can't take my eyes off you.

"I'm just gonna go to his bathroom and get changed in there..." I quickly mumble out.

I scrunch up the pj bottoms and walk quickly into the bathroom. As soon as I fold my trousers up I sit them on the bench and head back out to Max. I open the door and see Max is already in Chilled's bed facing the wall.This is not a good idea. I can't be in bed with him by our selves. Maybe I should just go back out to the lounge room but then... Chilled and Adam...

"Thank god he has an electric blanket, I'm freezing as!" Max says to me.

"Uh yeah, it's a bit cold isn't it." I awkwardly reply.

I sit my phone down on the bedside table and slide in next to him. I can feel the electric blanket already heating up the bed as I try to get comfy. I lay my head down and face away from him so I won't get distracted by his face.

"Goodnight I guess then?" Max utters under his breath.

I sigh out loudly and ignore his words while bringing the doona over my shoulders to cover myself for more warmth.

I wake up with Max's bare back pressed against my chest. I look to my phone and press the home button. It shines up showing me the time. It's 4.24am. I've only been asleep for a little bit over an hour. I notice that bed is cooler then before. Max must of turned it off when I fell asleep. I move away from him in case he wakes up and see's us snuggled together but as soon as my chest backs away from him, his whole body turns and he's facing towards my face. His body leans down on my arm and i'm caught. I freeze up but try to squeeze my arm slightly. He suddenly groans out and his eyes open slowly.
