Amanda's POV:
Soon it is finally time for lunch. I walk in with Alyssa and Amy and keep an eye out for Zach, not wanting to bump into him. We go to our regular table, me sitting next to Ethan. I get up to go to the vending machines outside to get a water. I take my water out the machine and get ready to go back when I hear a voice say,"Hey Amanda." I look up and say,"Oh, hi Zach." He says,"So, I saw you holding hands with Ethan O'Brien earlier." I say pretending not to know,"Really?" He says,"Yea. Amanda tell me you're not dating him." I don't answer I just look down. He says,"You better not be dating him." He sighs and says,"You're dating him, aren't you?" I nod and say,"Look Zach. I know you saw us earlier and I know you aren't happy but I am and you should be too." He says,"I'm not mad. I'm pissed. He's an O'Brien. You know Edwin and I don't like them." I say," Ethan's nothing like how you think he is." Zach says,"I just don't wanna see you get hurt." I hear a voice from behind me say,"Don't worry dude. I wouldn't do anything to her." Zach says to Ethan,"If I find out that you did anything to her my brother and I will beat your ass so-" I interrupt Zach and say,"Zach! I think he got it." He says,"You're okay with me. Just watch out for Edwin." I say,"Thank you so much Zach." He hugs me and whispers in my ear,"Stay safe, bug. I love you." I say,"I love you too." Then we break from the hug and Zach leaves. I hug Ethan and we walk back to the table. One down, one more to go.
Amy's POV:
Amanda came back from talking to Zach and Ethan. Probably about their relationship. Then one of the mean girls came over to our table. I hated them. Lauren was the head of the three. Then Emily, the dumb one, and Makayla, the even dumber one. So anyways, Lauren comes and says, "Hey ugly whores what's up" "Honey I'm sorry but we aren't your mirrors", Alyssa says and I give her a high five. "Come on guys lets not fight", Hayes said (Keep in mind Daniel, Ethan, Grayson, Hayes, and Hagen sit with us). "Shut up", Lauren said. "Hey you don't tell my brother to shut up", I said sticking up for Hayes because no one else would say anything. "Ugh you shut up too. Go to hell maybe you'll find your dead ugly ass parents there", Lauren responded. "Don't bring my parents up" "Why shouldn't I" "Because I said not too", I replied with tears forming in my eyes. Daniel came up to me and gave me a hug. He whispered, "You don't have to say anything. You shouldn't sink down to her level". I wiped my tears and said back, "I like your shirt", and then I turned around to sit back down. Suddenly, Lauren got some of the milk that Hayes was drinking and she poured it on Amanda's head. Now I was ready to beat someone. "REALLY? REALLY. YOU HAD TO DO THAT. NO ONE DID NOTHING TO YOU. I WOULD'VE POURED THAT ON ME NOT AMANDA. SHE DIDNT EVEN TALK TO YOU." I was so mad that I took someone's lunch tray and was about to dump it on her face. But Daniel stopped me. "You are better than this", he kept repeating to me as I lowered the tray remembering that I had to stay out of trouble. "Get Zach, tell him what happened and Alyssa and I will bring Amanda to the bathroom" "K babe", he said giving me a kiss. We brought Amanda to the bathroom and fixed her up so good it looked like nothing happened to her. We walked back into the cafeteria and looked over at our table. Lauren and Daniel were kissing. My heart shattered and tears started forming in my eyes. I walked up to Daniel and told him, "I'm not dating a cheater. We're done". Hayes gave me a hug. He then started screaming at Daniel, "I TRUSTED YOU WITH MY SISTER. I THOUGHT YOU WERE A GOOD GUY BUT YOU ARENT. DONT EVER TALK TO ME OR AMY AGAIN". Hayes pushed Daniel to the ground and Alyssa kicked him. "THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR HURTING MY BEST FRIEND YOU PIG", I walked over and said, "You don't have to hurt him. It's not gonna make me feel better". I helped him up and he said "She kissed me first and I was trying to pull away but she didn't let me" "I don't care about what happened. If u want me, show me", I said walking away like the badass I am. The bell rang so I walked to my next class alone. I didn't want people to comfort me telling me things like 'He's not good enough for you' and 'He's a total waste of your time'. I just wish this day was over.
