Amy's POV:
I wake up and remember it's Saturday. I then get up and take a shower. After my shower, I pick out my favorite blue sweater and some leggings. I brush my hair and put some makeup on just in case someone asks me to hang out. I then go downstairs and grab a granola bar from the pantry. When I finish eating it, I go back upstairs and brush my teeth. Then I decide to go outside because why not. I sit on the porch steps outside and watch the cars pass by. I saw a boy walk past my house. His head was down and he looked really upset. He had brown hair. It was Daniel. "Hey Daniel", I said. He turned around and whispered "Hey, um can we talk" "Ok", I responded. He walked over to me and sat down next to me on the step I was on. "So...What do you want to talk about", I said to him. He didn't talk, instead he smashed his lips onto mine and kissed me. I was shocked at first but eventually kissed back. We pulled away and he said, "I-I'm s-s-sor-ry" "You don't have to be", I said interwinding our fingers. "I miss you", I told him, "But I'm still not sure if I want to be in a relationship with you. I don't wanna get hurt again, Daniel" "I understand. I messed up big time", he said sighing. "Hey, don't get sad. I'm pretty sure there are tons of girls that would date you in a heartbeat" "I don't want those other girls", he said, "I want you. You are perfect in my eyes. I love you. When I'm with you other girls are just that, other girls". He was tearing up by now and you could tell by looking into his eyes, he was truly, deeply sorry. I didn't know what to do. I leaned in closer to him and gave him a hug. "I forgive you", I said, "Now, how are we gonna tell Hayes. Ugh he's probably going to think I'm stupid for forgiving you" "Wait", he said with sadness in his voice, "So we're not dating". I responded smirking, "Well, you never really asked me" "Amy Fox, will you make me the happiest teenage boy on this plant and be my girlfriend...again?", he said. "Oh my goodness", I said acting surprised, "Yes", I said chuckling, my smile dropped when I said, "C'mon lets go tell Hayes". I grab his hand and pull him inside. Then I close the door and whisper, "Here goes nothing", and scream, "HAYESSSSSS" "WHATT", he responded. "CAN YOU COME DOWN HERE I GOTTA TELL YOU SOMETHING", he walked down the stairs and when he saw Daniel he said, "Why is he here, you know I'll beat his ass if you want me too" "No Hayes" "Please don't tell me you forgave him", I didn't speak, "You forgave him didn't you", he said sighing. "Oh Amy, you can date anyone, ANYONE and you choose him" "Well he said he was sor-", I get cut off by Hayes saying, "Just because he said sorry doesn't mean he won't do it again". I looked over and saw Daniel looking down at his feet. "Okay", Hayes said, "Y'all can date. But when he breaks up with you because he catches feelings for another girl, don't come crying to me. And just so we're clear, I don't approve this", he said pointing at us. He stomped up the stairs and slammed his door shut, wow. "Wow, what did you do to him", Bea said basically coming out of nowhere eating a bag of chips. "He doesn't want Daniel and I to date again", I told her. "Well, Ames, I don't think that's a good idea", Bea said. "Of course, you don't. Your always on Hayes' side", I said rolling my eyes at her. "When he breaks your heart, Hayes and I aren't gonna be there to help pick up the pieces. And I don't approve this, either", she said walking up the stairs. "At least they'll let us date", I said looking at Daniel, as we both went and sat on the stairs. "Amy, I don't think it's a good idea if we do, I mean I don't want to hurt you again and they both hate me", Daniel said sadly. "You're right", I whispered, tears forming in my eyes. "Well this is some Romeo and Juliet shit", Daniel said, which made me laugh. "There's that smile. Please don't ever forget to smile. And always remember that I love you. I'm breaking up with you even though this time we only dated for like 10 minutes", he said causing me to giggle, "It's not your fault. I just don't want this to be some Romeo and Juliet shit because we both know they die at the end and we are too young to die", he said causing me to laugh. "I love you with all my heart and I want you to be happy. And if we date, your obviously not going to be happy because Hayes and Bea are always gonna tell you to break up with me" "You're right", I told him as we both stood up. "So friends?", he asked me. "No... Best friends", I told him giving him a hug. "Good", he said while laughing and hugging me back. "Well I'm gonna go back home, my mom is probably wondering where I am", he said walking towards he door. "Okay, well I'll talk to you later then. Bye". "Bye", he said while walking out the door.
