Amanda's POV:
I was on my phone texting Ethan when I heard a "BANG!" It was probably my witch of a mother coming down the hallway to check on us. I hear her scream into Zach's room,"YOU'RE SUCH A HORRIBLE SON I HATE YOU!", and then I hear a door slam and hear a little bit of sobbing coming from Zach's room. I feel bad for Zach and I'm about to go to his room when I hear footsteps coming toward my room. Assuming it's my mom, I hide my face under my covers so she would think I was sleeping and wouldn't yell at me because I wasn't. But then a person pulled the sheets off of me. The person was wearing a black mask. right before they put a cloth with wet stuff over my face I screamed,"EDWIN!" and right after that I was out.
I'm woken up by loud noises and movement. I open my eyes and see I'm in a van. I look behind me to see that I'm in back of van I can't see and my head is pounding. I automatically know I have been kidnapped and start shaking and quietly over knowing what can happen. I must've said out loud,"I wish I had Edwin and Zach with me." I hear a voice from behind me saying,"Well, you have one of us." I turn around and see Zach and go over to where he is and I sit on his lap in a sisterly way and just hug him for like 5 minutes. I say,"Zach, I'm scared." He says with his arm around me,"Me too, bug. We will get through it together. Edwin will find us." I could definitely here the nervousness in his voice. I mean, of course he's scared. He's been kidnapped with his little sister. I am brought out my thoughts when the van stops. I look at Zach scared and he gives me a kind of look saying it will be okay. The man that was driving gets out and opens the trunk. I can't see where we are because it is pitch black outside but it looks like we are in Anaheim because I have been there before and because we don't live that far from there. I start to shake when the man comes close to me and goes to touch my face and Zach being the over protective brother he is says,"Leave her alone." The man looks at Zach and says "Shut up." And slaps him really hard because Zach is holding his jaw. The man pushes me and Zach out the van and we fall onto the ground. He stands in between Zach and I, takes out a gun and says,"Try to run and you're dead." I bite my lip to hold in my tears. He makes us walk all the way to a house. He throws us in the basement and says,"I'll be back." When the guy leaves, I can't even get up to go to Zach, I'm too scared to move. Zach comes to me with tears in his eyes and says,"Amanda, calm down. We will get through this. Try to pull through for me. For Ethan. For Edwin. Edwin will find us." I nod my head and put my head in his chest and cry. He says,"Shh, bug. We will get through this." I nod. I then realize I had slipped my phone into the pocket in the joggers I was wearing when I heard the person coming to my room. I say,"Zach." Then I whisper,"I have my phone." He says,"Text Edwin then put it away. I don't want him to hurt you." I nod and text Edwin: "Help Edwin." I hear steps coming towards the basement then I quickly slide my phone back into my pocket and then the person comes downstairs.
