Alyssa's POV:
We finally get home and it's late but not to late. We to try tip toe into the house, but mom and dad are on couch waiting for us and they looked worried. Dad screams, "We're have you guys been." Looking at Cara for an answer since she's older. Mom then says, "We were worried sick about you guys with Amanda and Zach missing and kidnapper loose." Cara says, "We were saving them, we found where they were and their safe now in home with their family." Then dad looks to Grayson, Ethan and I like he wants us to back up this so called story but it happened. I say, "Cara's not lying dad." he nods, looks to mom, then goes up to all four of us and says, "I get worried about my babies I love all you." We all say "We love you guys too." then have huge family group hug. I then start to feel bad because Amy doesn't come home to this family, yeah she's got Bea and Hayes but, she doesn't have the parent part. I think she's kinda lucky too, because she can do anything. Well, as longing as Bea gives it the 'ok'. Also Amanda, she says her mom hates her and that her dad is always backing her up. I'm then pushed outta of my thoughts, literally. I guess I was hugging Grayson more in this group hug so he pushes me off. I say " Sorry I was lost in my thoughts." he says "It's ok." and laughs. He knows I drift off into this other world all time called my thoughts. Dad then says "We wanted to wait until you guys got home. we still had hope you guys weren't missing since Cara did leave a note but, still on edge of if you guys were ok or not and you are. Your mother and I going on trip for 20 year anniversary we will be back in 3 weeks." Grayson says "Yes party!" Cara, dad and mom all give him dirtiest look, while Ethan and I laugh. Mom says "No parties." I say "Why not? you guys get to have all the fun." Dad says " Ok and not to many people." Grayson says "Yes!" again and puts up his hand to Ethan for Ethan to high five it but he just looks at his hand rolls his eyes. I guess he's gonna do other things with Amanda while there gone. I say mockingly "Grayson, Ethan doesn't wanna party he wants his girlfriend to come over and Netflix and chill." Grayson dies laughing and Ethan pushes me. Mom says "We're leaving now. Can you kids help us pack the car?", everyone picks up a bag by the couch and we walk out to the the mini van that still has "weapons" in it from going to save Amanda and Zach. When mom and dad open the car they see bags. They look in and are like "What's this for." Ethan says "Weapons to defend us against Amanda and Zach's kidnapper." dad jokingly says "You wanted to rescue your princess with a hockey stick and bat, some Prince Charming." everyone laughs. Then Ethan and Grayson take the bag out and put it in the garage and go back to packing the car. When were all done we do another group hug. Dad and mom get in the car and drive off as we stand in the driveway waving goodbye. Grayson says, "Yes! Party time." Cara just shakes her head at him and then goes back in the house. I put Grayson's arm around me and say "You have some explaining to do mister." he says "What I do?" I give him the you know what I mean look and he gives back the I have no clue look and I laugh I say "You and Amy." he says with head down "There is no me and Amy she's back with Daniel." I say,"What! He's a jerk though. she's missing out." we're in the house now on the couch. Cara and Ethan are deciding what to watch on Netflix. I love how the first thing we do when our parents leave is watch Netflix. Ethan goes to the kitchen to get popcorn. Grayson says "I know right. didn't he kiss another girl. Yeah I know any girl would be lucky to have me." in joking way. I laugh. I say "Why did you never tell me." he says "Didn't think I actually liked her. thought it was just a crush but I'm over it now after I saw her kiss Daniel when went to go give her jacket." I say "Ohhhh ok whatever. If you say so. if you Don't like Amy, who like now." he sighs "No one." I know he's lying were twins well triplets including Ethan. I know his emotions. I hit him but not too hard on the shoulder and say "Liar. Who?" he sighs again, "Hagen..." We both laugh. were both dying laughing he says "No but seriously no one to be honest. Speaking of Hagen. What was about that kiss?" I sigh "I don't know he likes. I mean I like him but, I just don't want to ruin our friendship but now we're awkward since the ki..." I'm cutoff by my phone buzzing I say, "Speaking of Hagen." and hand Gray my phone. it's Hagen he texted "hey" Gray says "Oooooo." I text Hagen "Hey" seconds later he texts "Alyssa I've been wanting to ask this for years now and I think I'm finally..." I don't read anymore I turn off my phone. Grayson says "Hey I was reading that" I say "Its not important." he says "Yeah dude he just asked you out." I say "It's not important drop it." and look at Cara and Ethan who fell asleep with them sharing the blanket. they put on some movie I wasn't even paying attention to until now. it's some scary movie. Grayson says "... Ok what ever you say but, I think you should answer him and not leave him on read." I look at Grayson and then at Cara and Ethan and then back at the tv and back again to Grayson and then at my phone. I unlock it and continue to read the text.
