*Rae's POV*

Last night was kinda fun. I would never say that to anyone out loud, but hanging out with Carlos until I got in trouble for being in his dorm on his bed during the night was kinda REALLY fun! So, you must be wondering did I ever put that camera up in their room the answer is yes I did.

I look over at my clock and it say 4:36. I can't sleep so I silently get up and get dressed. I shadow-travel into the forest. I could scream at the top of my lungs and I would be lucky if steel heard me. REALLY lucky. Not many people come out here. Only Rana and I. This place gives me a place to think and talk out loud without anyone hearing me. ANYONE.  I sit down by the enchanted lake and stare into the water. I'm starting to wish my mother could hear me.

"Mom now I wish you could hear me. Maybe even take away all that I feel right now. Ugg! Stupid emotions! Wait a...." I can send her a message that she would get when she wakes up from her sleep. I open a message portal that leads straight to her voicemail. Yes you need to use a portal to leave a message on her voicemail. "Hey mom. I'm kinda having a small problem with something. Well last night I planed on doing a prank on the Villan kids but I got caught up in talking to this boy.Yes mother a boy. Anyway I ended up almost spending the night and you know how you taught me that I should not feel anything like love, or hope, or compashion or anything like that? Well after spending about 7 or 8 hours with him I may or may not, kinda sorta, maybe, l-like him?" My voice squeaked when I said 'like him'. It was meant to be a statement but it came out as more of a question. "Call me or whatever when you get this message. Please don't be mad. Can't wait to talk to you. Bad to the Bone, Rae." 'Bad to the Bone is kinda like saying 'love you' with us.

Then I realized that she proably won't get the message for another 2 or 3 hours because pergatory has really, REALLY bad cell service. Or would it be 'Portal service'? Whatever. I looked at my phone and the time said 5:45. I got up and started to walk away when I heard a twig snap. I snapped my head to the snaping noise and I was pushed back by something. I flew back and hit a tree. when I dropped down I looked up and saw a wolf. Like mine. about 7'6 but this one hate completly red eyes. Meaning it was a rough. I quickly stood up but was thrown back again. While in the air I phased into my wolf. Being all black you could hardly see me in the dim light of the moon. What you could see clearly was my left eye that had a white spot on it and was blue and my right eye that was blood red. I lunged at the wolf attacking it. At the same time it attacked to. My eyes where closed so I bit down on the first thing that entered my mouth. Which was it's mouth. I don't know what happened clearly during the fight because my inner wolf took over, but the next thing I know the wolf is on the ground bleeding pretty badly.

Snarling at it I looked the wolf over at its scratches. 'Stay away from here and never come back! If I catch another one of you guys here I will track you down and finish what I started! GO NOW!' I barked at the wolf.

Quickly it stood up and limped/ran off away from here. I phased back to my normal self and went home trying to forget what I just saw. Yep! Totally not going to school today.
