No 1:
they pretend they know
but really
they have no idea
they pretend to understand
but I know they never can

when I draw
it is not me drawing
but my soul
making line and shade
tone and shadow
into raw emotion

snow that falls, engulfs
gently teasing
the cold winter air

outside
when cold air burns your cheeks
and the smell of wood smoke
burns in your nostrils
don't worry
you are alright
settling in
to this new life

Come back
Rush through my head
Filmy, glazed eyes
Staring
Remembering
Long forgotten lives
Loves
People

How quickly life goes by
Without a second glance
And people die
You laugh
You cry
Because life is just
Another game
Of chance.

The sky is the same colour as the sea
That blue expanse carrying on till the end of forever
Looking through the small boat’s window
Now part of the waves
I’m alone, just me

And the stars don't seem to shine
Everything you thought you once owned

Just close your eyes, lie in bed
Sleepy head
And drift

Everywhere
Strings
Attached
To everything

Every thing seems to be getting better
My bridges are getting stronger
My connections even longer
No time to stop and think of
