Chapter Five

Amaterasu's POV

It's been one month since I came to the village and to find out I only had one month of training before getting the rank I want or what I deserve. Today is December 5th and today I will be fighting against other ninja from the leaf. I've been training in Taijutsu, genjutsu and ninjutsu along with medical ninjutsu.

'So far I'm better than I was when I left the cottage a month ago.'

I sighed as I stood in front of the mirror in my room in my new house that Itachi, Sasuke, Kohaku and I moved into after a week of living in the village; which means I had to sleep at the main house with aunt Mikoto, uncle Fugaku and Madara. I didn't like it but it's better then sleeping at the tower.

"Ama! We're going to late!"

"I'm coming!" I yelled.

I walked out my room dressed in black stretch pants and a loose black long sleeve shirt with the Uchiha clan symbol on the back with my blue ninja shoes. I ran downstairs into the living room to see both Shisui and Kohaku waiting for me by the door.

"It's about time you get out your room. We're going to be late."

"Yeah, come on mommy! I wanna see the other ninja!"

"Okay, we can go."

With that being said we walked out the house as we made it to the Forest of Death. I picked up Kohaku covering up her head as a jônin let us in both Shisui and I quickly ran into the forest until we finally got to the center of the forest to see the the tower where the chûnin exams take place. We landed in front of the doors of the tower and walked inside. I placed Kohaku down on her feet pulling down her hood as we walked down the hall. A few minutes later they walked into an arena we walked to the center of the room.

"Your a bit early, Ama." I turned around to see old man third, the fourth and his wife Kushina Uzumaki along with Tobirama.

"Blame Shisui gramps." He shook his head as he took a puff of his pipe. I looked down at Kohaku to see her looking at the old man with a frown with her arms crossed.

"Smoking is bad for you, ya know!" I sat down cross-legged on the floor with smile as Haku continued to scold the old man. While she was busy with him I took out my pack of smokes and lighter.

"Mom."

I looked up at Kohaku to see her pouting at me besides Shisui. I light up the cigarette putting the pack and liter away in my pouch as she glared at me as I blew of a cloud of smoke. I smiled at her waving her off which caused her to run at me, she slowed down when I raised my hand and pocked her on her forehead making her pout rubbing the spot I had pocked her.

"You can scold me later on, okay?" She crossed her arms turning her back towards me. I chuckled at her.

"Well, when did you start smoking Amaterasu?"

"Last year on my birthday, why?"

I asked looking at Shisui as I took a long brag before exhaling it. He motioned behind me with his eyes. I looked up to see Itachi starring down at me with a raised eyebrow and being me I quickly stood up jumping at him wrapping my arms around him.

"Itachi! I thought you were on a mission?" I said letting go of him. He looked between me and the cigarette that I placed in my mouth once I let him go.

"What? Going to scold me too?" He shook his head with a small smile.

"You're old enough to make your own choices, Ama." He ruffled up my hair with a chuckle when he saw me glaring at him. I swatted his hands away as I fix my hair but did it again.
