Chapter Twenty Six

"You decided you want the operation?" Tsunade questioned Amaterasu who nodded standing in front of her desk with a smile on her lips. Shizune looked between the two women holding into TonTon close to her in case the blond haired Hokage decided to lash out.

"What made you change your mind?" By now Tsunade was annoyed by the fact it took her weeks to change her uncles girlfriend's mind. She narrowed her amber eyes at the twenty year old who's smile turned into a smirk.

"Kurenai."

"You damn brat!" Tsunade stood up slamming her fist onto her table splitting it in half. Amaterasu lost her smirk but that didn't stop her eyes from shinning with amusement.

"It took me weeks but one word from Kurenai you automatically listened to her!?"

"Yep. And she had Asuka with her. I couldn't say no." Amaterasu took out five bottles of sake giving them to Tsunade who sighed sitting back down.

"You play dirty."

"Don't be a sore loser, lady Tsunade."

"When do you want to start?"

"Today would be good."

"I'm free for today. Shizune, tell Minato he will be in charge until tomorrow. I'll be in the hospital if they ask where I am."

"Hai, my lady." Shizune ran out the office leaving only Tsunade and Amaterasu in the room.

"We can meet at the hospital. I'll be getting Reiden's eyes."

"Actually, I was wondering if I can get them instead."

"Why?"

"From what I hear from other ANBU, he likes to put them in a genjutsu."

"You heard right. I will grant you this, Amaterasu. I'll be at the hospital, I expect to see you there in five with the eyes."

"Don't worry. I'll be there."

"Why did you have to tag along?" Amaterasu frowned as Kakashi just gave her one of his smiles as they walked through the Uchiha compound.

"I just wanted to come."

"Give me a better reason then that, Kakashi."

"How about I have to make sure you don't go overboard when you come into contact with him."

"Ah, but the brat knows he can't do anything to me." Kakashi shrugged but there was something else she was keeping him from.

"Besides it's no fun messing with him if he has chakra resistance on him."

'There it goes.'

About three weeks ago Hashirama thought it was a good idea to release Reiden, Tadashi and Midori from their cells to be relocated to the Uchiha compound but not without chakra resistance to ensure their and everyone's safety. He even made Amaterasu spend time with them at their old house which was cleaned out and restored for the three of them to live in.

How did they that day go? Well, Amaterasu stayed a good few feet away from them, her face stoic of any emotion but her eyes told the otherwise. She was always kept her guard up when around them. Her parents asked simple questions which she replied back with simple answers. That's when Reiden couldn't sit back and play house with the woman who embarrassed him in front of his parents not to mention in front of Madara, the once feared leader of the Uchiha clan.

"I'm sure they'll be happy to see you again. Considering what happened last time." Amaterasu couldn't help but smirk. Reiden had attacked Amaterasu with a kunai only to be knocked to the ground with her sitting on him, his own kunai placed against his neck ready to end his life.

"Who knows? Come on, their at the main house."

They stood in front of the house. Amaterasu slide open the door, Kakashi following behind her.

"Uncle Fugaku? Aunt Mikoto? Old man Dara?"

"Brat." Amaterasu only smiled at Madara who leaned against the frame watching the two newcomers.

"Where is he?"

"The other brat is out in the back with Fugaku and Tadashi. Your cousins are there as well. It's... Amusing."

"Huh? What's going on?"

"Go see for yourself, kid." Madara walked into the living room leaving a confused Amaterasu and Kakashi.

"Now I got to see what's going on."

Outside

"So this is why Madara wanted us to see?" There on the green grass was Sasuke and Reiden fighting, rolling around throwing a few punches here and there.

"They've been at it for an hour." Itachi said looking up at her, nodding at Kakashi.

"Sasuke, that's enough." Kakashi said but his words fell on deaf ears. Amaterasu hummed as she walked passed her cousins, father and uncle.

"Sasuke." Sasuke stopped his fist that was aimed for Reiden's face.

"That's enough. Give it a rest." Amaterasu stood in front of them. Sasuke looked up at his cousin seeing her with her hands on her hips looking down at him.

"Hn." Sasuke stood up, dusting himself off.

"Thank you, Sasuke. Go get cleaned up before dinner." Sasuke sighed walking passed Amaterasu.

"Now she's going to get on my ass because of this."

"What the hell are you talking about?" Amaterasu didn't answer instead made him stood up as she healed his cuts on his face.

"Come on. We're going to the hospital." She said yanking him back inside house with everyone behind them.

"What's going on here? Ama?" Amaterasu didn't answer her father. She, Kakashi and Reiden put their shoes before opening the door.

"Amaterasu." She let out a sigh when she heard Itachi's demanding tone.

"We'll be in the hospital for awhile. Don't wait up." Amaterasu walked out the house dragging her brother out with Kakashi behind them.

"Your eyes."

"I'll lose my sight by the end of the week if I don't do this right now. I can't even make out your faces."

"We're late." Kakashi said looking at the Uchiha woman.

"Great, she's going to be on my ass. See ya." Throwing Reiden over her left shoulder, much to Reiden's embarrassment, grabbing Kakashi's wrist with her right hand before vanishing.
