Chapter Twenty Eight

"Are you leaving?" Shisui stood in the doorway of Amaterasu's room as he watched his little cousin get her weapons ready. He took notice of how much she was packing. She was ready for war.

"Are you going alone?"

"I am."

"I'm going with you."

"No. I'm doing this alone."

"You can't do everything alone, Amaterasu."

"Watch me." She had strapped on her ANBU armor, her katana ready along with her other weapons all she needed to do was wait for dawn and that was slowly approaching.

"I'm going."

"No. I'm not letting you."

"I'm not asking, Amaterasu." She looked at her cousin.

"This is a solo mission for me. What makes you think the kages will let you come with?"

"I'll talk to them into letting me go with you."

"I like to see you try. They already made up their minds, what makes you think they'll change them? Just because you're my cousin? They'll just say your too emotionally envolved with the situation."

"I'm not letting you go outside the walls without someone! I'm not losing you!" Amaterasu hands came to a stop as she was putting her hair up. She was standing on the other side of the room the next she was hugging Shisui, who returned the hug of his own.

"I'm not going to lose you." The sun was starting to peek through the curtains, lighting up the room.

"You're not going to lose me. If I die you know I did it to protect someone I love.... I'm sorry."

"Ama, what are you.." Shisui fell limp in his cousins arms. Amaterasu laid him on her bed before turning to leave but not before putting her mask on her hip and taking two more items from the room.

At the gates she saw two gaurds. Both were asleep. She placed the items on the wood before running out the gates. A few minutes later the gate gaurds were waken up by a firecracker.

"Damn it! Not again!"

"Damn those academy students. Hm? What's this?" One of them saw a red scarf with a note attached to it.

"It's addressed to lord Tobirama."

"Does it say from who?"

"Amaterasu Uchiha. We better get this to the tower."

"You go, I'll be here."

The gaurd had came and left the tower leaving the white haired Hokage to himself as he left the items for him. Tobirama clenched his fist that held the red scarf the other held a crumbled note.

I love you, Tobirama Senju.

Amaterasu's mission was considered nothing more then a simple solo mission to the Kages and everyone else but to her it was different. Too Amaterasu this was a suicide mission.
