Chapter Sixteen

Tobirama and the others had gotten back to the village in record time. Shisui went to the T&I building with the male that was on his shoulders, Shikamaru went to the tower to report with Sakura while Shizune and Tobirama headed straight to the hospital.

"St-stop it... Make it stop..." Tobirama looked at the woman in his arms to see tears rolling down her face.

"The fever is starting to affect her."

"Lady Tsunade!" Shizune yelled once they walked into the hospital. Shizune told Tobirama to lay Amaterasu on a bed, once the Uchiha woman was on the bed she quickly went to work.

"What's going on here-" Tsunade stopped seeing her uncle and Shizune who was treating Amaterasu. The woman Hokage went to the bed seeing that Amaterasu was unconscious but she would mumble a few words as her face scrunched up in pain, putting a hand on her forehead before moving her hand away.

"She's burning up. Shizune I'll take over for now, and you can go see grandfather, uncle." Tsunade said before taking Amaterasu in her arms rushing to a room. Shizune went after her leaving the white haired Senju alone where he stood watching them run of with Amaterasu with them. He sighed in defeat making his way out the hospital.

"So it was Reiden who sent the message to the rouges. He was willing to put his mother at risk for his attempt to capture his sister."

"Yeah, I don't like hurting women but I had no choice in the matter." The blond man shrugged as he stood in front of all five Hokages.

"How is the woman?" He suddenly asked.

"Why do you ask?"

"She's sick isn't she? I remember how she looked when she was fighting."

"Don't worry about her, she'll be fine. I can't say the same about the little brat." Tsunade sighed looking out the window. Amaterasu had a fever of 103.02, they hand managed to brake the fever just yesterday a day after she and the others returned.

"What is your name?"

"Shin, call me Shin."

"Do you plan on helping us with this rouge problem?"

"Sure, why not. I never did like this whole thing in the first place. I only needed the money for my little brother."

"Since your willing to help us, we can have your brother be brought here." Tsunade turned around facing Shin.

"Don't worry, my brother is dead. They don't like us having distractions." Was all he said looking at Tsunade. She motioned for ANBU to release him. They did.

"You will show us where the camps are. We need to finish them off before they have the chance to strick." This made Shin smirk.

"Don't have to tell me twice."

"When will mama wake up?" Kohaku asked looking up at Sasuke who was babysitting her for the day.

"She'll wake up when it's the right time. Let her rest for now." Kohaku pouted as she sat on the bed looking at her mother who was sleeping on her side facing the window as she hugged a pillow to her.

"Come on, kid. It's almost time for you to head back to the academy."

"Okay." Kohaku sighed jumping off the bed.

"Bye, mommy." Sasuke got her hand walking out the room closing the door behind him.

"Heh, don't you worry about mommy, Haku. I'll be fine." Amaterasu mumbled opening her eyes. She looked around the room when her eyes spotted the nightstand with a few cards but her eyes went to the flowers in the vase. Red roses.

Amaterasu's ears perked up hearing the door open. She closed her eyes even out her breathing, the door closed. She didn't hear footsteps instantly her mind went into over drive knowing it's a ninja.

"Your to much trouble to handle." She smiled feeling a hand caressing her cheek.

'Idiot Senju.'

"What am I going to do with you?" He sighed deeply taking a seat next to the bed.

"You just have to put up with me, lord Tobirama." She said opening her eyes. Onyx eyes starred into red eyes.

"When did you wake?"

"Sometime in the middle of the night. I just woke up from a nap not even 3 minutes ago."

"Kohaku is worried."

"I know, but she's not the only one that's worried, my lord." Tobirama raised an eyebrow at the last part.

'Thats a new one.' He thought.

"Who got me the roses?" He frowned.

"Shin, the blond rouge that you took down two days ago."

"That's nice of him. Is he going to help us?"

"He will. He asked about your health the other day."

"Eh? An ex-rouge worried about someone else's condition?" She looked at the Senju who shrugged leaning back against the chair.

"What about the brat Reiden? What's to become of him?"

"As of now, nothing."

"Can I beat him up when I get out of here?"

"No."

"A broken nose?"

"No."

"A busted lip?"

"No."

"What about broken bones?"

"Yes."

"Really?"

"No."

"Your so mean."

"You just have to put up with it."

"Do I have too?"

"I put up with you, don't I?"

"Whatever." Amaterasu pouted hiding her face into the pillow, she missed how Tobirama had smiled before scolding her for being reckless.
